"Purchased a prewowned 2007 MDX with 17K miles. The car drives great. It is a smooth, comfortable ride. It takes some getting use to if you are going from a car to an SUV. It is a bigger vechile and not as easy to park. I feel as though there are more blind spots. On the flip side, the car is much more roomy and the trunk and third row have been great for trips. I would highly recommend. The newer models may have fixed blindspots. I imagine this car only improves with newer models. I would purchase another."

"its one of the best vehicle ive owned. this coming from a guy whohas had other suvs before like the nissan xterra landrover discovery 2004 model, ive owned sedans like audi a4. its a drivers suv and one truly enjoys cornering with its super handling awd. the one gripe i have is that most acura dealers are pedestrian in terms of offering good customer service and do the brand no justice. the best dealers are landrover dealers hands down. most un professional dealers ive met are from ford, vw and honda. the toyota dealers are by far much better. dvd read error seems pretty common for acura so make sure buy that extended warranty which will cover this expense (its around 700$ minimum to repalce the dvd unit) ive taken this car on numerous cross country high terrain road trips across sierras, rockies in worst conditions it handled so surefootedly that it gave me confidence to push it up the slopes with no after thought. it has five star crash ratings lower maintainence than mercedes, BMW, Audis. why pay more . one suggestion though acura should make this suv look more macho by getting rubbersied bull bars like they have in discovery(deer hazard) stock tires should be michleins latitude and not some hankook or falken etc"

"It is excellent SUV for long drive. But I think cargo is small compared to Honda Pilot or Tayota Highlader. Also the leg space to rest the left leg for driver is not confortable for tall people over 6'."

"I come from driving a Lexus RX330 and even that is a great truck nothing compare to the Acura MDX. When you drive the MDX you have much power and better handeling then most of the SUV in the market not to say that the MDX offers a seven pasenger seating witch is not available in most SUV. Also Consumer Report rated as one of the saftest SUV in the Market"

"We've owned our MDX for two years now. Looks great. Drives great. Macho Styling. Sucks Fuel. Big Blind Spot. Great Audio. No major problems.. it could handle better at freeway speed. Not a Cheap Date. Very Safe and Fun to Drive. Buy one if you can afford the fuel and maintenance."

"Great features for the price, every option I could think of...but... Drove a BMW X5 4.4 then a 2007 MDX...what a difference in engine performance. The MDXs engine seems too small for the size of the vehicle, makes it boring to drive and slow. If your buying a car for the features, and technology, this car is for you....if you want performance...look elsewhere. After a year and a half of the MDX, I traded it in for a ML550, I could not live without a high powered engine !!"

"I have driven this car over 15000 miles and I have to say I am satified with my purchase. The MDX is fun to drive and has plenty of get up and go for the average driver. Handling is very nice although a bit heavy for my wife. Styling is nice as well. We opted for the nav model, but would probably have purchased the base model after owning this one due to price. A portable nav is much cheaper and just as good. Yearly map upgrades for ours will be expensive. What we like: Great looks Fun to drive Good performance Excellent features Third row seats Front seat comfort Decent gas mileage All wheel drive works great Hands free calling is very cool and works well Nav screen is easy to read and located in the proper place What we do not like. Second row seats are comfortable but do not recline, they only tilt back slightly We had to purchase an auto dimming rear view mirror as it is not standard equipment Stereo is good but not great Somewhat noisy climate control fan Seats are not full leather, only the seating surfaces, however the third row seat does have leather surfaces unlike other brands Nav works well, but does not always show the shortest routes Voice recognition takes practice Fuel door release broke after a few months Overall we would probably purchase this car again. We did get a big surprise when we went to our insurance agent. We have an excellent rating, but it costs us about a grand more a year because of the luxury status. Also parts are very expensive, but because it is a Honda product, it should not break very often. I would take a hard look at the new Buick or the Mazda if I had to do it over again, but resale would probably make the MDX my choice once again because I will own this car well over 100,000 miles and do not want to give it away when I am finished like I do with most domestic brands."
