"I must say. I looked high and low for the car that could offer the whole package - performance, feel, handling, comfort and price. This car is it. I am really impressed so far. While the competition in this class is tough, especially the Infinity M37, this car is at the top. Nice work Acura. Remember to put the car in manual and use the padels to shift. You can really feel the horsepower."

"I started my search with about 12 sedans in mind and quickly narrowed it down to about four. I was looking at the Cadillac CTS, Infinity G37, Lexus ES350 and the TL. I won't bore readers with my reasons for eliminating the other eight or so models. After looking very closely at my remaining options, and figuring I was really in a win-win situation, I decided on the TL, and it didn't disappoint. It has the perfect balance of luxury, performance, reliability, safety, resale value and interior and exterior styling. It's not as luxurious as the CTS but I had a hard time getting past Cadillac's relatively weak reliability rating. It's not as fast as the G37, but it's roomier in the backseat and the trunk (and I still have a 15 year old at home). The Lexus was well balanced too, but I found the exterior styling somewhat boring. Also, the CTS and the Lexus, comparably equipped, would have been thousands of dollars more expensive. As for the neverending "car review experts" that constantly call the TL's design "polarizing," I have one word, WRONG. I have had dozens (I'm not exaggerating here, like my wife says I do sometimes) of people tell me over and over what a beautiful car the TL is. The reaction of friends, co-workers and strangers has been amazing. This car turns heads, period! Hope this helps the folks out there, so long..."

"We were 4 months from paying off my vehicle when a young man totaled it. We test drove this car and the first thing I told my wife was I wanted the drivers seat in the den. They are the most comfortable seats imaginable. The car looks amazing and sporty. Most vehicles I've driven, when you step on the gas, you can feel when the transmission shifts, and you get that little jerky thing. This car you can see the RPM's shifting, but can't feel it. The technology package is WELL worth the money. Awesome car and we would recommend it to anyone."

TL SH-AWD White paint mismatch

"I financed my 2009 TL SH_AWD on Oct 2009. It supposed to be a Diamond pearl exterior colour per Acura Specs. Instead it is a color mismatch of shades between the body and both the fenders. Contacted Acura Customer service and was told that they know of the color mismatch but it is part of their painting process and they can not do anything about it; meanwhile the local dealership offered to paint the fenders in order to match the color. I asked the Customer Service to send me a written response about this, to which the answer was a plain "NO". Please be aware if you consider buying the white TL. Audi, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, etc., do not have the color issue."

"I had the Acura TL-S 07 and was convinced to move to the new one Acura TL 09. Didn't get very impressed because I loved the TL-S but how surprised I was when i test-drove the car. It was almost the same as my TL-S with more comfort and equipment. So I decided to move to the new Acura TL. Congratulation to Acura again! They've made the perfect car again!"

Invigorating Performance + Stunning Looks

"I applaud Acura for finally taking the lead with a fresh bold design for the TL. The car?s styling is simply brilliant--- inside and out. The superbly integrated Tech. package brings the car?s substance on par with its stunning looks. The car feels solid and stable at high speeds; torque delivery is instant and linear; the steering is precise; and the suspension delivers a taut sporty ride without feeling harsh on rough roads (thanks in part to the excellent choice of 245/50R17 Michelin tires). I also love all the goodies that come with the Tech. package---the hi-res. voice-activated nav. system, the backup camera, the keyless entry system, the 440 watt HDD-based audio system, HandsFreeLink, and the supple leather. And they?re all amazingly intuitive. For the last 15 years, I?ve only driven German cars. Before buying the TL, I also considered Audi A4 V6, BMW 535xi, VW CC VR6, Infiniti G37x, and the Lexus ES350. In this bunch, the only car that topped the TL w/ Tech. package was the ?09 VW CC VR6, but only if you could live with its two-seater rear arrangement ... and I could not! So, all things considered, my final analysis led me straight to the TL."
