"I owned an Aston Martin DB9 Volante Convertible for a few years, it was a fun car but the rear shocks were bouncy, the flip up navigation looked cool but was slow and tempermental and if you get the car detailed you better tape a sign to it otherwise the detailer push it down by hand which breaks the gears, its $1500 to replace... happened to me once, NOT FUN. The car looks great and drives reasonable well but you buy it for the style because it's not a great performer, there are a lot better performing cars for the money but the looks and styling of the car are incredible. Also get to know your local master mechanic or be prepared to shell out a small fortune for maintenance. There are few warning systems and no low oil warning and if oil pressure drops below the minimum for even a moment the motor is ruined, this also happened to me once. The top moves up and down extremely fast and allows movement while driving which is super cool. The stereo sucks so you need to upgrade it or you cant hear it but again the styling is incredible and it is a unique and beautiful car but I wish it performed better and was more reliable."
