Consumer Reviews
"I owned a 2001 BMW 530, but it got long in the tooth and a really wanted a convertible. Since I needed a back seat, I drove the Mercedes CL350, the Volvo, the BMW 328 and 335, and the Audi A4. As a longtime BMW owner I really wanted to like the 328/335 convertible, and tried every possible combination: manual/automatic transmission, with and without the sport package, and just didn't love it it. It was beautiful and comfortable, and felt sluggish and heavy. In contrast, the 2007 Audi A4 - even though I knew its repair record wouldn't be as good as the BMW - was a BLAST to drive, and it looks great, just like an old-fashioned convertible should look. I got the quattro all-wheel drive, and the S-Line sport trim, and it corners like a dream, it accelerates quickly at any speed, and you can really feel the ride. The inside is comfortable, and the black leather with brushed silver trim looks amazing. Plus, it has real cup-holders, unlike the BMW. The older nav system isn't as good as on the newer BMW's, but it's certainly serviceable, and it has blue tooth that syncs with my iPhone. I finally found it: the perfect car, and I definitely get props when I have the roof down. Highly recommended, especially if you can find one with low mileage."

"Absolutely a must buy, in terms of value, holding its value and performance. Over 32 mpg on the highway, smart design, food feel for the road and great design and lines for those of you that like to get noticed. I have driven two different series of bmw's and and mercedes, and frankly overall they dont have much (other than perhaps horsepower, which the a4 is more than adequate for most driving styles) over the audi. Read the reviews and try to find a another car in this price range with fewer complaints...you wont. Enjoy."

"This car is exactly what I what I thought it would be. The car is beautiful, a lot of work went into the design and it really shows through. This car is that the a4 line should always strive for. It is great on gas. Easy to maintain. This car is perfect. I love it."

"I have had the vehicle for a month, seems like a solid foundation. Only problem was the dealers prep or lack of. Car was vacuumed and wiped down only, for $595.00 and not really cleaned, which is part of what I paid for. Otherwise the car itself is awsome. Have some minor cosmetic work to do but other than that nothing else that wasn't expected, at this point."

"I *loved* the way it drove, and it allowed me to drive in blizzard conditions on the way home . I have test driven the 2007 that I will soon buy. It has *much* more power and no hint of turbo lag. It really is a dream to drive, and it's rock solid stable at all speeds. This car just feels right, and when I got in it, even after years of driving a Benz, it all felt familiar and everything was designed so intuitively and with careful thought, allowing the driver to concentrate on the road. The road feel is slightly improved as well, absorbing the potholes on Texas streets with aplomb and poise, but still giving a nice tight and controlled feel. The seats and the quiet cabin just added to the immense pleasure that I feel when I'm driving this beauty. I can't wait to take delivery of my second Audi. This car is economical, a joy to drive, safe. If you take care of German cars, they take care of you. If you abuse them, well... Not everyone takes good car of their cars, or researches the quality of cars carefully. I've had an excellent experience with Audi, and it's the best car I ever owned, by far. I can't wait to get my "new" 2013!""

"The Audi A4 is a good buy as a used car. Mine was supplied with great service documentation had all it's required service performed and was as clean as a NY car could be. Superficial damage to the rear bumper was easily fixed and it's interior is wearing very well, like most Audi's. 2.0 liter engine and all wheel drive make it safe for my daughter's use!"

"Ecxellent car. Got a 2007 A4, non quattro, for $17k with 33k miles. Excellent value considering it was previously listed at an Audi dealer just a few weeks earlier as a Certified Pre-Owned Audi. Car rides great and absolutely zero mechanical issues so for. I wish it had a auxillary inout or Ipod conection for the stereo bu that is the only, albeit nit-picky, comlaint I have. The car does not have near the performance that the Quattro model I drove but for a $4k savings, I can live with it. Overall, I think it is an excellent value for the car. If you are looking for a A4, I recommend trying to find one that was previously for sale at an Audi dealer. Check the CarFax report to see if it was for sale there before it got to another dealer."

"I needed a car quick and didn't do as much research as I should have. Most initial impressions of this car are great, but a simple Google search will yield many forums with various problems after the first few thousand miles. Usually oil consumption. - Mine is a 2007 A4 2.0T which burns oil at a rate of 1 quart per 600-800 miles. I bought it from a dealership (35K miles) with 2 years remaining factory warranty and 2 more years Certified Pre-Owned Warranty (CPO) since I didn?t have time to research. I though that would cover me? I thought wrong. - Audi of America has given me the run around and this car has been in the shop every month since I bought it. They have done an oil consumption test 4 times now, and always tell me there is more oil in the car than at the start of the test, and that I shouldn?t add oil during the test. I keep telling them they over filled it at the start of the test and their initial measurement is wrong. - I started tracking ?real? oil consumption by how many miles I drive and how much is added. So far I?m averaging in 650 mile range from ?max? to ?min? on the dipstick. - I am covered by two warranties, original factory and CPO, which have so far done nothing for me. Unless Audi finally fixes this problem I will most likely never buy an Audi again. It?s a pity, as I love the design and performance of the car. - I gave it an overall 1 star rating because ?2 Stars = Fair? and this is definitely below ?fair.?"
