"This car continually reminds me that every last detail was engineered to enhance the driver's experience. It has been 100% reliable over 64,000 mi. Dealer service has been beyond expectations, and costs are minimal for a car costing 50k. I would love to purchase a new Audi A5 for the looks, however this A6 has been so great and satisfying as a daily driver, I have no desire to part with it."

"We own an '06 A6 and are very impressed with it's road handling characteristics, stance, aggressive sporty styling. It's fuel economy is fairly good on the highway. It's outstanding in snow and it's acceleration is above average."

"I have always been an American car guy, and a GM one at that, CTS, Aurora, Rivera, and the usual Chevy Camero's when I was much younger. I have never been so happy with a car. The drive is SOLID, the comfort is great and the 4.2 V8 is awesome and I am averaging 21 MPG with 25 on the road and 17 in town. The fit and finish is just prefect and the service has been outstanding. I highly recommend this car to anyone."

"V6 3.2L has good power in this vehicle. Handles well with responsive steering. Select the sport transmission setting and this car will really jump. Gas mileage has been 20+ in the city; 30+ on the highway. Automatic windshield wipers (if installed) may take some getting used to. Overall a pleasure to drive."

"I own 2006 A6 4.2 S-Line. Bought it used with 18,000 miles after months of research, compared it with the E500 by Mercedes, M5 by BMW and Infinity M45. This is the best car for the money, better performance, comfort and style. The MMI is easy to operate, great sound system, power whenever you need it, sleek, modern and elegant. Comfortable and fun to drive. Best car I ever had, leaves the others in it's group way behind."

"I love my A6 so much. I bought it about a year ago. It has a silky-smooth V8 that really go's! Audi makes the nicest interiors, and the A6 is great proof of that. I hated BMW's iDrive on the 5 series, and the styling is terrible. I almost bought an E500, but The performance just wasn't as pleasing as the A6. I have always liked Audi's, but the last A6 did not appeal to me. I like the current one so much, that I bought the A6 Avant for my wife. I love the styling and the navigation is so easy to use. The seats seem a little bit hard at first, but are so comfortable for longer rides. The reliability is great, no problems. SO< DO NOT OVERLOOK AUDI! It's the best choice."

"Driving the A6 S-Line is about as about as much fun as can be had in this Luxury Performance Sedan category. With quattro 4WD it handles as well as the BMW 5-series on dry pavement and better on wet. V-6 goes fast in Sport mode and saves gas in regular Drive mode. Award-winning interior is better than BMW or Mercedes or Infiniti M35. Muscular, elegant exterior design never tires the eye (kind of car you look back at over your shoulder as you walk away). MMI is better than BMW iDrive. Build quality is flawless and it won the government's top saftey award for both front and side impacts."
