Consumer Reviews
"I had owned Q 5 since 2010 September. Its a very nice car, had read the reivews and decide to go for it. I had owned different luxury vehicles and never own or driven Audi before. Mine is 3.2 PP with Nav. I bought the car in NJ and when I went for 5000 mile service in NY dealer I was told I will not get a loaner car because I did not purchased the car from them. I had flat tire last Janusry. Call road side assisatnce and after waiting 45 minutes the nice guy came. It looks like he had a contract with Audi. He had difficulty looking how to change the tire. It was done, not propperly so after driving back home I had a flat on the spar tire. Had to wait 45 minutes to get the service from Audi Road side assitance to sent one again. It was fixed and I had to buy the new tire from the local tire dealer. Similar event happened with my friend yesaterday. She bought the 2012 Q 5 because I recommend. She had a flat, she call, Audi and in 35 minutes a guy came with a regular car. He had no clue where to look for th tools. Then cannot locate the key lock. After they found it he claimed he did not know how to use the spare tire, its different but you all know its not thet difficult. He called the tow car, it was towed to near by tire shop where they finally change the spare one and my friend got home at 6:30 pm. She got the flat at 2 pm. Thankfully it happened in the compound whwere she worked and not on the high way at night. I will recommend the car but it will be nice to use AAA or your insurance company road side assistance rather then calling Audi and getting a person who cannot change your tire for a flat. Its ridiculous. Had send e mail to Audi but did not receve any response."

"The Q5 is not my first luxury SUV but so far, 3 months in, it is the smoothest ride, especially on slick streets. The AWD is seamless in transitioning road conditions. I could be quieter, like the Lexus, but the Lexus is a girly car. One complaint is the audio system, everything is there but It can be a hassle to toggle and drive. Overall, great car."

"I have driven BMW's for years and just came out of an X5, which I absolutely loved, but it was high miles and time to change! I'd been eyeing the Q5 for a while, loved the look, so I stopped for a test drive to make my final decision, another X5 or the Q5.......needless to say, I only went to one dealership!"

"I have a 2011 Audi Q5 Premium Plus with the 2.0T Engine. I couldn't find the one I wanted at the dealer since they sell so fast, so I ordered exactly what I wanted, and got the car about 8 weeks later. Styling- It is great looking on the outside and inside. I love the Panoramic Roof and the MMI system that I can use to operate my iPod (I did not get Nav). I also like the Power Rear door and Xenon/LED Lights. It is definitely a head turner when you're driving. Power- I love the acceleration and power this car has for only having 4 cylinders. I have been averaging about 19-20mpg in the city and about 26 highway, pretty close to what the sticker says. Reliability- I have only had the car for about 5 months now and have no problems to report, so I gave it 4 stars for now. The only down sides I have about the car is the limited sight when backing up (The Nav package will give you the backup cameras), and the cost of filling up runs me about $65 since I have to use premium."

"I purchased the Q5 back in May 2011 with the 2.0T. I love this car. Great fit and finish. I had a2008 MDX before and it does not come close to the driving feel of the Q5. The premium plus has all the options you need. The bluetooth works great. The radio takes getting use to, but having 50 presets is awesome. I can't wait to drive it in the snow. If you are looking at the RDX or BMW X3 look no further the Q5 has all the options at the right price. I wish Audi would bring over the TDI version."

"The new Q5 is remarkable! One of my favorite options is the Bang Olufsen 14 speaker stereo system (except for Audi this sound system is found in the Aston Martin, Mercedes AMG and BMW 6 series). It is a wonderful surround sound system that makes any commute a joy! I also enjoy the power and smoothness of the 3.2 V6 - very refined. When I began my search for an all wheel drive vehicle that is versatile, luxurious yet fun to drive I looked at allot of vehicles (ML350, Lexus RX, BMW X5, Cadillac SRX & Escalade and Infinity to name a few). In the end the Q5 proved to have the best all wheel drive system and the best balance of performance, luxury, value and sheer enjoyment to drive of the bunch! I'm averaging 21 mpg in local driving and 26 mpg on the interstate!"

"I traded a Porsche Cayenne for a 2011 Q5 3.2 and absolutely love this care. The comfort, handling, performance and utility of this car is truly magnificent! This SUV is very quiet, smooth and powerful when driving in the city or on the highway - much more refined than a friends new Cadillac SRX (that I also considered) or the BMW X3. Resale value of this car is also the best in class with minimal depreciation in the first 24 months. I highly recommend this vehicle!"

"So far, so good! Got my 3.2 Quattro on May 5th, 2011 and I love it so far. It's a very good looking vehicle and the interior is great too. The only concern I had in the beginning is that it was a little jerky in it's shifting but called the dealership and they told me that's normal in the beginning until it learns your driving style. They asked me to give it a full 30-60 days and I shouldn't have that any more - that's pretty accurate, haven't felt anything else. Overall, great! I would definitely recommend it."

"I drove my AUDI Q5 3.2 for about a month and I got into an accident. My AUDI saved my life because I was hit by a big truck. Not only this car is very luxurious, furthermost very safe. A huge moonroof has a net underneath that increases ventilation while blocking extra glare. The nav system is very sophisticated although not easy to use at first. The rear camera is a plus with the sensors warning when an objet is too close. The downside is the exterior mirrors size that can block the visibility on the sides. Otherwise, the Q5 AUDI is an impressive machine with a great style."

"What an awesome car! Looks great, runs great. Audi knows how to build cars, that's for sure! The whole family loves it. It does come with a price though but now we know why - German Engineering at its best!"
