"We purchased a used Q5 4200 miles and are very pleased with it. Great on gas, rides nice and has plenty of power for passing. This has the smaller engine but is great."

One of the most practical cars I've owned

"For my work I have to drive about 60,000km per year and I am required to haul a bunch of work related cargo as well. Where I live in the North East, winter driving can be challenging. The Q5 has exceeded my expectations for reliability, comfort, sportiness, cargo space and overall fun to drive. I've taken the family on 2 road trips to Florida and it was the ideal way to travel for a family of 4. At 186,000km after 3 years, the car still feels and looks new and I plan on driving it at least 3 more years. Safe and solid with very reasonable consumption it is a great vehicle!"

"powerfull enough when needed - turbo, but very fuel efficient on highway - only 2 liter engine, on technical data 27mpg, but i usually easily make 32-34 mpg while driving 25 miles to work."

"I did some looking around at different SUV's before deciding on the Audi. I was most taken by the BMW x6, but determined that it was just not practical for me. The Audi is great. I really like it and plan to drive for many years. The dealership sales and service people try very hard to please with no pressure to purchase. No brow-beating or passing you off to other higher ups. It was a good experience."

"I brought this Car in 2011, I had Lexus, Honda, and Audi A6 before, I am so disappointed I brought this car just because it looks great and cool outside but actually it has very small HP, not spacing at all. I love cars, but I will never recommend this car to any of my friends, please seriously think before you purchase this car."

"ordered 2012 Q5 2.0T and can say this was a superb choice. Super fun to drive, very comfortable and great gas mileage. Can't beat a German car for luxury and quality. AWD is amazing at holding the road and the 2.0T has got to be one of the best production engines available."

"I've had my Audi Q5 S for 5 months. It's incredible. It makes doing your errands fun. 3.2 engine and B&O sound system worth it. The mileage it gets really surprised us. I drove every foreign SUV out there. Some have fancier interiors, but none of them had the fun SPORT drive that the Q5 S has. You start driving and don't want to stop. From now on its always Audi for me. Turns the corner on a dime and hugs the road. Everyone should test drive!!!!"

"The Q5 was the first vehicle I looked and after checking out all of the competitors, was the last. Love it! Exterior styling is appropriate for camping in teh mountains and pulling up to a black tie event. Interior is simple and sophisticated - no uneeded clutter. Perfect ride - passengers have concistently commented on how smooth the drive is. Go for the B&O speakers and the MMI - pricy but you'll be glad you did."

"I have had my new Audi Q5 3.2 Premium Plus S Line for only 3 months, but I took it on a 3000 mile road trip during that time. It got 26 mpg on the highway - better than the EPA rating! It was incredibly quiet, comfortable and performed beautifully through the Smokey Mountains and on the highway. Several people approached me during the trip asking what kind of car it was! I shopped several SUVs and know that I made the right choice with my Audi."

"This is our second Audi. We looked long and hard and came full circle to the Q5. Great vehicle and great resale too! We also considered the Panamera, great car a lot of money but still a car. Apples and oranges I know. But for the SUV factor, Q5 is king and nobody beats interiors of Audis, maybe Range Rover comes close ??? We got the 3.2 vs 2.0 T, Love that 6 cyl and Quattro nice combo! Lots of great cars out there good luck to all. Thank you cars.com you helped my decision making."
