Vehicle Overview
The Q7 was Audi's first foray into the luxury crossover segment, but since its debut the automaker has added the Q5, a smaller and less expensive crossover. The Q7 seats up to seven people in three rows of seats and can be equipped with a gas or diesel V-6. The Q7 competes with the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and Acura MDX.
New for 2013
Diesel Q7s come with a new engine that delivers more horsepower and better fuel economy ratings of 19/28 mpg city/highway. A new dual-screen rear seat entertainment system is also available.
Exterior
For a crossover, the Q7 has a relatively sleek profile, and it wears Audi's signature grille. Adaptive xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights with LED daytime running lights and a panoramic sunroof are optional. Exterior features include:

Interior
The Q7's rear rows of seats fold flat to provide more storage space. Audi's optional Multi Media Interface information and navigation system features enhanced voice activation, so you can speak commands such as "I need gas" or "I need coffee," and the computer will map your closest options. The Q7's powertrain lineup consists of two supercharged gasoline V-6s and a turbocharged diesel V-6, all of which team with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Mechanical features include:

333-hp, supercharged 3.0-liter gas V-6 in 3.0 S line
240-hp, turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V-6 in TDI makes 406 pounds-feet of torque
