"This is the best car I've ever owned. I've owned a number of other Audis (A6 4.2, Q7, A4, S4) and this is the best of the bunch. Pros: Quattro - absolutely the best all wheel drive one can find. A must have for MN winters. 435HP 5.2L V10 - This is an excellent engine with a lot of torque and pulling power nearly anywhere in the RPM band. Understated looks - Aside from the LED banks, s-badge and v10 emblem, this is a rather stealth car. If you've ever owned an M5 or Merc AMG, flying under the radar will come as a welcome change. Great interior - the interior is exceptionally well-appointed (best in the A6 line). Everthing is where it should be. The ride is firm but comfortable. A perfect midsize sport cruiser. Cons: Get one with Audi CPO status (Certified Pre-Owned). As with any expensive sport sedan, repairs can add up quickly. The engine is so large it requires lowering or removal for a number of procedures which amounts to a good number of labor hours. It could be more powerful - the 435HP v10 is quite powerful, but I can't help but feel as though the engine is being artificially restrained from being the true monster it is."

"I've been fortunate enough to drive the latest of Audi's performance gamut: RS 4, S6, S8. The S6 is, in my opinion, the best car Audi has ever built. It has 90% of the RS 4's handling capabilities, 95% of its acceleration capabilities, but with a bigger interior and a more comforting demeanor. I prefer manuals, but the automatic in the S6 shifts fast and matches revs. The V10 has power at any rpm over 2500, where as the RS 4 needs to be above 4500 to have any hard thrust. Oh yeah, the V10 sounds BEAUTIFUL. Much nicer note than the M5 or Viper. Well done Audi!"
