Vehicle Overview

What it is: The four-seat Audi S7 is a performance variant of Audi’s coupelike four-door hatchback, the A7. A 450-horsepower, twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 is standard. The V-8 teams with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Competitors include the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class and Porsche Panamera.
What’s Special

  • Available sport rear differential
  • Adaptive air suspension with lowered ride height

Here’s info on the regular A7:
What it is: The Audi A7 is a large four-door hatchback conceived along the same lines as BMW’s 5 Series Gran Turismo. It combines a coupelike profile with the comfort of a sedan and the practicality of a station wagon, Audi says. The A7 slots between the A6 and A8 sedans in Audi’s lineup, and competitors include the 5 Series GT and Porsche Panamera.

The A7 now comes only with a supercharged gas V-6 engine. Audi has dropped the turbo-diesel V-6 while it works to resolve an emissions-cheating scandal. Performance variants of the A7 are available as the S7 and RS 7, both of which are powered by turbocharged V-8 engines.

  • Turbocharger failure

Other than both turbochargers going out after 1800 miles and Audi refusing to stand by their far with only 37000 miles, it is a blast to drive. The dealer I bought it from stepped up tremendously.

  • WOW! Buy it. Stop Looking.

I upgraded to the 2017 S7 Prestige from driving a 2005 Audi A6 for 11 years. I gave the A6 to my son with 138,000 miles, it still runs great. This S version does not disappoint. A head turner, fast, and reliable. I have every option except the Sport Package and Alcantara headliner. Loaded with features not even listed like a 9GB hard drive to load CD's or DVD's if you choose. WiFi hot spot rocks especially with my Escort. Comfortable ride, love the adjustable settings. Cooled and heated seats, night vision, Bang and Olufsen stereo, heated steering, what is not to love. Audi is ditching the Google Earth feature for us in December 2020, and many fuel door actuators (dumb design Audi) are my only complaints. A7, S7, RS7, buy it, you won't be disappointed.

  • Everyday dream car

I have yet to drive a car that rides better, has more power, and has a unique look that is not rivaled by anything. Definitely see myself in this vehicle for the rest of my life only thing about them is I wish the price could be a little lower but it's definitely worth it.

  • Awesome! I love this car.

I have owned about 30 cars over 45 years. The Audi S7 is the nicest and most powerful. I drive it year round due to Quattro all wheel drive. I have had numerous comments on how good it looks. The V8T engine makes this car so responsive and quick.
