"2008 Audi TT 2.0 Turbo with S-tronic Automatic, 50,000 miles. 2965 lbs 0-60 7.2 sec. Ordered the car with special order paint color ($2500) and waited 7 months for Audi to produce it. It was worth the wait. Great handling, sleek exterior and stylish interior made with quality materials. America still hasn't caught on to the versatility of a hatchback. Bought the Audi maintenance program at purchase for $800 and saved money on the scheduled service. Have had zero problems with the car after 50,0000 miles. The purchase price seemed expensive at the time, but I have since come to realize what most Audi owners already know: Audi cars are worth the price! I looked at the Porsche Cayman and Volkswagen GTI before I bought the TT. The Porsche was just too expensive new, and the Volkswagen was just too utilitarian a design: but still a great car for the money. The TT is really a stylish Porsche in disguise. The 2.0 Turbo (not available new anymore) is under 3,000 lbs and a blast to drive, ANYTIME! Plenty of power for everyday driving. Did an Audi Club sponsored track drive at VIR on street tires and was quite proud of how the car handled at the limits. Be careful not to get caught up in ordering too many options, they are expensive. I ordered only the Premium Package, bi-xenon headlights, leather package, and the reverse sensors. I actually liked the standard 17" alloys the car came with. The 17" tires are not only inexpensive to replace, but keep the ride livable. The 18" and 19" wheels/tires improve the handling but make the ride harsh. Only real drawback to the car is the incredibly tight rear seating area. Just consider the car a two-seater and keep the seats folded over for more trunk space. This second generation Audi TT is much improved over the original model in workmanship, handling and power. I recommend this car to anyone that enjoys driving."

"This car is HOT! I love the way it handles especially at high speeds in curves..It gets lots of stares and preforms like a beast. My car is an everyday car, i got stuck in one of the worst snow storms we have ever had this past winter the snow came fast! I left work at 4:00 i made it home after 8pm, i live 14 miles from my job, cars, trucks, vans were stuck everywhere my TT never once failed me though i was scared to death afterall this my my first time ever driving this car in the snow it took me right to my front door! The only down fall that ive had so far is that i hit a pot hole and not at high speed but my tire busted and thet are expensive to replace also no one in my area had one so i had to have them order one and was without my car for a week."

"2008 Audi TT: Purchased new from the dealer in October of 2007. Special order color available($2500) allows you to stand out from the crowd. Exterior: the car looks good from all angles. Interior: quality materials throughout with attractive, functional layout. Handles like a go-kart and if you stick with the 17" rims, the ride is comfortable even for long drives. Best features are the flat-bottom steering wheel, the DSG and the aluminum used throughout the frame which keeps the TT's weight under 3,000lbs (2.0 Turbo). The six cylinder is more powerful but adds weight. All wheel drive is available if you live in snow country."

"Initially I thought of purchasing the first generation of the TT because I really do like it's design, and I really didn't think the Mark-2 TT was as cool- at least not in the pictures, until I went to see one in person. Wow! Putting the two together really does make the Mark-1 TT look outdated. The Mark-2 is simply gorgeous. The 2.0L Turbocharged engine is peppy and lunges you quickly ahead of the other traffic. The car also feels really light. I feel like I'm flying an A-Wing rather than driving a car. I have not seen a single Mark-2 TT on the road in Chicago, so it really turns a lot of heads. I can't wait to drive this around next summer. I am giving reliability a 3 because I haven't had it long enough to be able to judge."

"The alarm does not blink so it doesn't appear there is an alarm. The drink cups are not as good as the former model TT . The headguards are not as adjustable. Both are convertibles. The seats do not flip forward which I miss from the former models.I like being able to put the top down at a stop light."

"Taut and snug on the road, quick responsive engine and tranny, good looks, adult looks, price that is reasonably affordable for the genre, I can go on and on of fine comments. Well until you back up, put your head on a swivel at some point you will learn to feel your way back. But then again, I really do not care! Go Audi! Go Audi!!"
