Very spacious inside, fun to drive, love the shape

by First time BMW owner from Boston, MA | February 14, 2016

I like this car a lot. Really excellent space in the back as well as luggage space. It's definitely bigger than a 3 series - almost as long as a 5 both inside and out. Basic 3 series inside. The read end shape is "love it or hate it". Personally, I have always liked the sportback shape and so I like it a lot. But you'll find plenty of people who don't Lots of reviews complain that it isn't as nice as a 3 series sedan to drive. That's probably true, but it's a _lot_ nicer to drive than an X3, and has almost as much utility inside. For me, that was the real comparison. I personally feel that both the 3 wagon and the GT are overpriced compared to the sedan. I got a very good price on a 1 year old CPO so that swung it for me. Don't even think of paying MSRP - there are great deals to be had even for new 3 GTs.

Excellent car

by Kamalit from Albany, NY | July 9, 2015

Excellent performance combined with plenty of room. Backseat leg room is better than even a 5 series. Engine performance is excellent with good mileage. Great value for your money. A rear wiper would have been nice for the hatch.

Great all-around vehicle, comfort, reliability..

by Love Cars from New Hampshire | December 13, 2014

Love the car, like all BMWs the option costs add up quick. Have to be discriminatory in what is selected or the car will be priced out @ the 3 series level. Been great so far, very comfortable ride, smooth engine and transmission. 4 cylinder engine is peppy and has plenty of power, but I would consider the 6 next time.
