"Some feedback after 2yrs of 328xi ownership: Pros: 1. great road feel, hw stability 2. good awd system for snow, rain, I try to spin her out but she streightens right out. 3. adequate power/torque from the N51/52 without the complexity and issues of the N54/55 4. nice interior, trunk space Cons: 1. Run flats are harsh over pot holes, rough surfaces 2. Door seals squeaks (esp after rain) 3. Rear shelf squeaks over bumps 4. occasionally hydraulics valve lifters tick/chatter (even after full replacement)...perhars oil supply issue in the N51/N52 engine head"

"We purchased a CPO 2008 Bmw 328xi coupe from a local dealer and could not be happier with this choice. Styling and performance are only exceeded by the comfort and overall driving pleasure this car has provided to us."

"Good reliable car. Easy to maintain and looks good. BMW is the easiest luxury car to keep up. Tires are cheap, unlike many luxury cars. Great car for 2-3 people. Kind of small for 4+"

"Bought it for my wife... handles great. Spend a lot of time in western NC mountains... tip tronic is great.. gets 24.7 avg in the mountains... even if it is high test. Looking forward to dumping the run-flats... but really handles pretty well even with them. Second 3 series... first wagon... like that a lot."

"I recently bought a 2008 BMW 328 I Sedan with 25K. So far I love it. I have no complaints whatsoever. The exterior and interior design are gorgeous and I always look back at my car after it has been parked. The performance of my BMW is excellent and as far as BMW's saying of the ultimate driving machine, you'd have to experience it for yourself. One last thing I would like to say and a hint.... try and buy a used BMW with a warranty because you can save thousands and who's not looking to save money."

"I love this car!! my first BMW (used 2008 xi sedan with 37,000 miles). This car was meant to be driven hard so if you just want to drive around town running errands this may not be the car for you. If you want to drive for the driving experience , pushing the car to its limits and eating up curves like skittles then this is the car for you. Driving in sport mode gives you extra zip, but it shifts abruptly so I only use it on the highway. The manual mode is alot of fun in the city or on the highway. I average 18.6 city/29.6 hwy. with Plus not Premium fuel. The heated seats and the sound system are some of my favorite features. I've put 15,000 miles on the car in 10 months and only had to get the gas cap replaced, which was covered under warranty. My issues with the car are the cupholders and the tires; even with all wheel drive, the tires are bad in snow/ice so I will switch to winter tires this year. The car doesn't handle as well when loaded with passengers and the car gets pushed around on windy days on open roads. I have some questions that hopefully someone can assist me with: 1. How does this vehicle perform/handle when you replace the run flat tires with standard tires? 2. How does this vehicle perform/handle with custom wheels? 3. Is it possible to upgrade the standard headlights to after market angel eyes and Xenons without causing problems to the eletrical system?"

"I've been strictly a Honda, Subaru kind of guy for years now and never thought I'd be a BMW owner. I had bought a brand new Honda Civic 2008 but when the back end fishtailed dangerously on moderately icy city streets the allure was gone. That day I went to drive a 2008 BMW 328xi (certified) on snow covered roads and felt safer than in any vehicle ever - and I grew up in Colorado! This was only the beginning of the love affair. The overall handling of this classy sedan is something I look forward to every time I climb in the car, the straight 6 engine makes it a true muscle car when you need it or want it. The style is truly sporty elegant yet doesn't scream "mid-fife crisis" when I'm seen in it. The small things that really work - wipers that know when the windshield is wet, front seat heaters, ski bag (cold weather package), gas milage meter, incredible standard sound system (I'm a musician) only enhance this beautiful ride. My only misgiving of the car is the gas milage. Its not bad, but compared to the Honda bites a bit, however, considering everything else, I'm okay as long as gas stays under $5 a gallon. The back seat is a bit crammed but this doesn't bother me, the leather-work is fine and the wood work gives a hint of luxury. I love this car."
