Consumer Reviews
"2011 BMW 335D has a tremendous amount of power. Turbo in line 6. Gets great Hwy mileage and about 30 MPG ( Canadian) in the city if you are easy on the right foot. So far a great car -- i got it with 10k on it ( demo ) from the dealer."

"This is the first BMW I have ever owned or driven. The handling is similar to the Infiniti G35 but the fuel efficiency is significantly better. I chose the BMW 335D (diesel). I am cautiously optimistic that the vehicle will last 10 or more years. Comfort -- The Infiniti G35 of 10 years ago is more comfortable. The BMW seats lack cushion. Cup holders are few and inconveniently placed. Performance -- The vehicle seems to get better fuel efficiency the faster you drive it. Styling -- The BMW lines are more inspiring than the other diesel vehicles I looked at (Audi and VW) Interior Design -- See comfort. I do like the wheel that comes with a navigation system. Value for the Money -- I will decide if it is a good deal five years down the road. Reliability -- Same as value for the money. So far, it is the ultimate driving machine."

"If you want a car with the quiet ride of a hardtop, the option to put the top down, fantastic handling and a pretty strong engine, this is your car. That said, you could go a lot faster for a lot less money with a Mustang GT or Shelby, and be able to afford the maintenance after the 4 year warranty/service period is out...."

"The 335d is a little BEAST! Hands down, the most fun I have had driving in a long time. Has twice as much torque as my old pick up truck and really shines going from 40 mph- 100+ mph in the blink of an eye. That said, fuel economy is great if you can resist the urge to gun it constantly. I was a little skeptical about diesels but this car made me a believer. Most people can't even tell, the car doesn't have that loud rattling diesel noise. Only thing that is slightly annoying is the driver cup holder location, but that is because the I-drive controller is in the usual cup holder spot, just below the shift lever. It makes navigating I-drive very easy and natural for your right hand so all in all, it was a good move by the designers."

"I traded in my 2008 BMW 335xi for a 2011 335d. I wanted something with great gas mileage and also the get up and go I had with my xi. I found it in this vehicle. Everything beats my expectations of diesels. The car is agile and acceleration is smooth with no turbo lag."

"I had the older, sport version inthe 328i form and there is no comparison other than the looks. This non-sport 335i far supassed the ride, the performance, and the even the mileage of the 2008 I had. I only have 5500 miles on it and have average 30.9 MPG. It is getting 32 MPG on the hiway, seems to do the best at 60-65 MPH. It doesn't drop off much at all on the interstates but does significantly in town. The main ons are in the navigation system when searching for points of interest and the MULTIPLE errors of small town names on the map. I do like the this system better than the older one though when jumping back and forth from the various radios, navigation, multimedia, etc. The interior is a little smaller that you'd think (back seat) but it is a series 3."

"Used cars.com to find the best price and the car that I love with all the options. This site is great! I was able to get 3 dealers to compete for my business. Never had to go through with haggling at the dealer and them holding on to your license! Experience was awesome and the price was 8k below sticker! What a deal! As far as the car, didn't even test drive it (I owned a much old 2003 325i before) and when I finally drove my car, man.... that is a just a rocket. It was exhilarating!"
