2016 BMW 428 consumer reviews

I've been a BMW fan for many years, and this 428i has not disappointed. It drives and handles just as it should, and the 4-cylinder turbocharged engine is excellent. The seatbelt 'presenters' do not work well, and the door pull handles melt in the Florida heat; other than those two little annoyances, this is an exceptional automobile.

I bought my 2016 BMW 428i convertible sight unseen, except for pictures in the Fall, 2021. It had just under 29,000 miles. The seller was an old friend living in Atlanta. We didn’t haggle on price, she received more than a trade in offer, I paid less than a dealer sale. I also factored into my cost shipping to NJ, $650 plus a five year extended warranty, $3,300. I absolutely love the car. I’ve never owned a BMW and now I better understand owner loyalty. Handling is a dream and I’m always surprised at my speed, going 70 when I thought it was 50. Getting my 68 year old body in and out can be difficult, but it’s worth. I bought just as gas prices were going up, but I don’t drive as much as I used to. It did cost $70 to fill my tank. All in all I couldn’t be happier.

This car is the best of all worlds. You get amazing performance and handling without sacrificing fuel efficiency. All this with x drive and M sport package. Easy on the eyes.

This car has been a great convertible to drive any time of year. The style, condition, and comfort are excellent. Has Ext. Warranty available upon purchase. The Turbo engine allows for maximum performance and the leather electronically adjustable seats provide perfect comfort.

I love this car. Drives well, looks great, it only became a little uncomfortable getting in to and out of after I fractured my hip. Looking forward to my next BMW.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got behind the wheel. The interior amenities were many and varied. It's what I expect from BMW. But I was not expecting the performance out of this 30MPG vehicle. I'm more than satisfied with the acceleration and handling of this hard-top convertible. I look forward to letting the top down as soon as this Michigan winter is done. No complaints so far. If you're on the fence because of the four cylinder, get over it. It rocks.
