"I bought my 528i used. I was concerned with how well it would hold up considering what I've heard about BMW upkeep. After owning it for a few months, I knew i had nothing to worry about. This car handles amazingly. It's got a good deal of speed, especially if you have the sports package. My friends own BMW's as well. One has a 330ci and the other has a 745i. They're both beautiful vehicles, but theirs are newer than mine and constantly in the shop! The 5series has everything you want. It looks and drives amazing. I've only had to replace the battery. My only complaints would be that the brakes go pretty quick. If you purchase this car, heres a hint, use 93 octane. It makes the car run awesome."

"I bought my sport premium edition when it was three years old and now it will be ten. I can't say enough about this car. One of the many things I'm impressed with is it's handling. It does not have any play in the steering and when I make sharp turns around corners it never lifts up or bobbles. It has been very reliable. I decided to add a few high performance parts and have a little more power than before. It's not like I needed it, I just wanted to make my little monster a bit bigger. It's truly the ultimate driving machine."

"This car has outperformed my highest expectations. It drives beautifully, is quick enough and handles well enough both to be fun and to get me out of trouble. An added bonus is that the car's styling seems to be timeless--like a Brooks Brothers suit--it was never extremely hip or flashy, but it will never look outdated. The car has 110,000 miles on it, and I plan to keep it going forever. OK, the cupholders are really awful."

One of the great cars to own

"I have had my 528 for 8 years and I still love it. I like the styling and how solid it feels. The car handles great, has superb breaks and pretty good acceleration. At times I have coveted to had a 540, but for the price, and what I could afford at the time it was perfect. Before this I drove a VW Jetta GLI. The down payment of my 528 was more than the price I paid for my Jetta which I purchased new also. So when I drove my car home from the dealer I got this weird feeling of whether I just paid all this money of the BMW logo. That's is for sure not the case. I have enjoyed driving this car everytime I have gotten in. On the maintenance end, it is a bit on the expensive side, but that's the price you choose to pay when you own a BMW. The only complaint I have about this car is that the rear taillight tends to go out often. Unlike all other BMW parts, the light bulb is only a few dollars and a snap to change yourself."

"Even knowing this vehicles are considered to be nice. You must critize this cars so they are really worth your money. The Milleage isn't that bad, but i falls short compared to other V8 engines out in the market. Not a lot of power, with only 193 Horses. A very small interior for the passenger.Very quiet, and comfortable but might need a a bit of work on the suspension. The handling is excellent, along with the interior and exterior look. Great car... But a few minor modifications need to be made to the vehicle for it to become perfect."

"Tight handling and steering. Car is not a speed demon, but has nice acceleration. Great sound system with 6 CD changer in the trunk. Very good value for the way this car has been maintained."
