New for 2014
The biggest news for 2014 is the addition of an all-new diesel model to the 5 Series lineup. Offered with either rear- or all-wheel drive, the 535d is powered by a turbo-diesel 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that makes 255 horsepower and 413 pounds-feet of torque.
The 550i sedan gains a more powerful V-8 engine that's rated at 445 hp and 480 pounds-feet of torque.
Other improvements to the entire 5 Series lineup - including the Gran Turismo models - include revised front and rear styling, standard adaptive xenon high-intensity-discharge headlamps and an iDrive navigation system with a tracing pad for direct character input.
