Best Sports Car I've Ever Owned

Best overall performance capability with day to day drivability as an option, this car has everything you need. It will satisfy your need for speed and also satisfy your need to get around comfortably. I don't think there is a car on the market that represents luxury and performance better.

F***ING AWESOME CAR!!!

I?ve owned MANY fast and fun cars. This has been my favorite by far. My Supercharged Audi SQ5 was fun, My V8 Mercedes CLS was classy, the Jeeps, trucks and convertibles were cool too. This one takes the cake. Seriously the best car I?ve owned. On to the next toy!

A true performance car

Simple...I love it! Luxury, performance, styling, comfort and just plain fun to drive. It is the car that I have dated since it first appeared in 2013. We finally got married!

Disappointment

Purchased this car after trading in my 2013 M5 and it was a total downgrade. As far as looks goes, the car makes heads turn. Comfort was a notch above miserable. The car is fast but doesn't ride/handle nearly as solid as the 2013 BMW M5 I owned previously. Overall, if you plan on buying this car just to park it on your driveway as an ornament, then by all means go ahead. But if you're shopping around for a car that can provide day to day comfort then flip the switch and turn into a super car, then you're better off getting more bang for your buck with an M5.

Best looking BMW today

I've own my 2014 M6 GC for about 2 years now. Prior to this, I had a 2013 BMW 528i and a 2002 Inifnit G20. The M6 is hands down, BMW's best looking car today. The interior is meticulously designed and very elegant. The full merino leather exudes luxury. The performance is superb. The car handles well and is very quick. Definitely a head turner. As good as the car is, BMW is not very well known for it's reliability and the M6 is no exception. I only have 19K miles on the car and no major engine issues, but I've had minor issues. The car has lane departure warning and the steering wheel vibrates when you are out of your lane. I have had issues with this lane departure module on 2 separate occasions. It's as if something is loose in the steering wheel and every time you hit a minor bump over 55 mph, you hear it. Further, I've had minor issues with the electric seats adjustment not working properly as well as the headlight washers not retracting back properly. Not really that big of a deal, but if you take into account that this car is over $130,000, it becomes a big deal to you. I can say, however, that the engine has been fine. No issues whatsoever. But I am less then 20K miles. I'd like to hear someone with over 70K miles give a review on the engine reliability. Overall, I am very happy with the car. There are tons of pros and minor cons with it. This is one unique car and one that you do not see on the road a lot.

'14 M6 GC

Overall, it is a very nice car. Exterior styling, hands down the best looking BMW today. The interior does not disappoint either. Very luxurious and sporty combination interior. Seats could be more comfortable, but it is "sports" seats. MPG is bad. However, those who drive this car is not driving it for the MPG. I will leave it at that. Reliability so far has been average. Engine itself has no issues but minor electronic kinks do bother me a bit. Overall, I give it 4/5 stars. One draw back is maintenance which can get expensive once outside warranty. The other being a BMW, historically, reliability is not as good as the japanese cars. But driving impressions are amazing. The design sets it apart from other cars on the road, and it is definitely a head turner.
