"I like the X5M, I really do. Thats why I chose it over the ML63, Cayenne Turbo and Range Rover Sport. Its got good power, a great transmission, impressive suspension tuning, aggressive exterior styling and a decent interior. It drives very well for what it is. Its an absolute blast to drive. That said, it could be better. A lot of things that are optional, should be standard at this price point. Speaking of which, this truck is EXPENSIVE!!! And you don't really get what you pay for. There are some cheap spots in the interior that I would expect to be better. Some squeaks and rattles. BMWs electronics could use work as well. Mine is having some minor electrical issues, and I'm reading on the forums that others are too. They really need to work on that in the next generation. This generation though has problems, and thus, I can't rate it any higher than I did."

"Just wanted this car after owning escalades ext's. I wanted something that would handle the turns on the 101 and 20 highways on the north coast of calif. The X5m is everything that I imagined it wouild be and more. The runflats are bumpy, but that's a small price to pay for your return on handling the turns. Its gitty up time, everytime all the time. Radars no good because you just cannot keep it under eighty. Get more insurance, your goona need it!!!!"
