"I bought my 2007 Z4 3.0si Coupe about 3 weeks ago for roughly 42k in Montego Blue. The pictures online absolutely cannot do it justice. It was love at first sight when I saw it at the dealership. It sits very low to the ground and has a stance of a tiger that is about to pounce its prey. And that is precisely what it did the moment I hit the gas and dropped the clutch. Its sport setting helps a lot with taking off from first. The clutch and transmission are among the best I have driven - smooth from first all the way to 6th. The handling is nothing short of precise, and the M seats hug you and keep you planted and focused on the road. Another thing I love about this car is its high reving 3.0L engine and the sound it makes both inside and outside the cabin. One cool feature a lot of people like about this car is that after you remove the brake on a hill, the car stills still for about 3 seconds before rolling back like a regular manual. The reason I gave it a 4 in performance is because I also own a subaru STI turbocharged, but that can easily be fixed with aftermarket add-ons. I also feal that the interior design (particularly the dash) could use more features, but then again...it is a very small car. The trunk space is huuuge compared to its convertible sister. Overall, I absolutely love this car. Just driving it down the street or highway I had a handfull of people compliment the car."

"drive this car like it was meant to be driven - a true rag top that has lost none of BMW's heritage. This is not a car that you would buy if you have kids and a dog - god knows there are enough vehicles out there to do that. But if you want to recapture true ragtop driving, there is no other car that can do it with the panache this does. Thanks BMW!"

The Best All-Around car I've ever owned

"2007 3.0si fully loaded (Nav, Premium and sport packages, M heated sports seats, Xenon headlights, automatic with 6-speed steering-wheel mounted sport shifters, etc.) MSRP $52,500. Exterior: Silver / Interior: Black. Awesome handling and acceleration. Turns heads everywhere you go. However, you need to be careful of the VERY LOW PROFILE rims/tires, 225/40/18 front with 255/35/18 rear. The rear's on the 3.0si are even lower profile than the Z4 M's without runflats!! Go slow on curbs and speed bumps. I had to drive slow in Downtown San Francisco due to potholes. I rated a 4 out of 5 stars of 'Comfort' because it's a bumpy ride. But considering it's a very sporty sports car, I'd say it's 'by design'. I rated the rest all 5 stars because it's an almost PERFECT car. Nav is user friendly - much better than the iDrive system. It's not a cheap car once you add up all of the options like I did. At MSRP $52.5k, you can find something else which is cheaper and faster. But I LOVE BMW's. Their overall handling and reliability is unbeatable, par-none."

"It's a 2007 Z4 3.0i, Sport package, heated seat, manual trans, black on black. This is my very 1st stick shift car, and every time I get off the car this thought comes to mind, "Never a dull moment!" I think it says it all."

"Excellent car. Aside from the fun of driving a 2 seat convertable, the Z4 has additionall advantages. Exciting yet forgiving handling, largest storage space of any 2 seater I've seen and striking appearance."

"This 3.0 si coupe is a lot of fun (sports package, premium package, non-sports seats). The cornering is absolutely fantastic. The acceleration is good, and the quality is simply excellent. I even enjoy driving in traffic - just crank up the stereo. The cell phone sync with the radio is wonderful, no more struggling to get the phone out of my pocket - just push a button on the wheel and talk. Surprisingly good trunk space. Good gas mileage so far. On the downside, the view out the rear is minimal. and requires careful use of the side mirrors. Small price to pay for this much fun. This car makes me grin everytime I get in. I compared several cars, and I'm quite happy with this purchase."
