"I bought the 2000 Lesabre used with about 49k miles. It has 80k now. Both electric rear window regulators went out, but I got the parts online for $35 each and put them in myself. Recently, my mass air flow sensor went bad, $300 repair. Other than that, no problems. My gas mileage is 27 mpg city/highway combo. That is unbelievable gas mileage for such a large and safe vehicle with lots of power. I love this car. I bought it for $7,000. This car was $28,000 new. The engine series is one of the most reliable engines ever built in the U.S., according to most professional reviewers."

"I have owned my 2000 Buick LeSabre, purchased used, since April, 2007. I bought it at a relatively good price of $7400, with 71K miles on it. The car now has 89K miles on it. There have been a couple of repair issues, but overall it's been a good vehicle and a good value for the money. I did have to replace the two rear power window units, but used aftermarket products (installed by a Buick dealer), which cost about $500 overall. Other than that, there has been nothing major or unexpected. The car drives very smoothly and effortlessly lopes along at highway speeds. Highway gas mileage is 30 - 32 mpg; in a mix of city/highway, it drops significantly to about 19 - 21 mpg. It's not a great car, but is certainly a solid car and is worth a look for many buyers."

"The 2000 Buick LeSabre is a very comfortable car to travel in, especially on longer trips. It cruises easily on the highway and gets great highway gas mileage (30+). Mileage drops off distinctly in city driving (16 - 18). I have had a problem with the power windows and recently had to replace BOTH rear units. Using aftermarket parts installed by the dealer, this cost me about $500. This seems to be a bit of a design defect by Buick/GM, but still doesn't diminish (too much) the value of this vehicle. I bought the car with 71,000 miles and currently have 86,000. Based on experience with previous GM "big cars", I expect to easily exceed 150,000."
