"This is such a great overall car, makes me proud to drive American. I grew up driving German cars but was looking for something less expensive to maintain. This car handles great and is a lot peppier with the higher octane gas. I recommend getting the larger displacement engine which I don't have. I am very happy with the car and look forward to buying a newer model someday, although I prefer this body style."

"This is the first luxury vehicle I owned and its a great car. The owner before me customized it so it stands out from the basic model. I've constantly being complimented on how nice my car is whenever I am out and about. With this car it's important to use high grade gasoline and oil when getting an oil change. Like most cars, if you take car of it, it will take care of you by being reliable in return."

"We purchased this vehicle to replace a V8 Olds Aurora - which was more for choice than any other reason. The CTS has won our hearts over many times in all areas. The creature features excel, the ride is great and the performance runs away even from the V8 Aurora. Gas mileage tops 28 mpg even over long distances at 70 mph. We only wish we could afford the CTS-V, and maybe for our next car we will! Highly recommend this car to people who want luxury, comfort and high performance."

"This is the best car I have ever owned. I scored it average in comfort and good in interior design only because I am a larger than average size man, and this is a slightly compact car. I bought it used for a good price with 92K miles and have not experienced any reliability issues at all. The fact that it has so many miles on it and still performs at such a high level is impressive. It does consume oil, but not as much as some exaggerate and I expected it with a high compression engine (3.6 L V-6). About a quart once a month for me. It performs well in hazardous weather and I personally did not lose control over the vehicle this winter, despite the snow and ice storms here in South Jersey. Just press the winter weather button near the gear shifter and go. I have averaged about 22 miles a gallon, but closer to 28 while on longer highway trips. No need to press the performance button near the shifter as this car has plenty of power without the added fuel consumption. She will fly when you want her too!"

"Bought my Cadillac CTS-V new in 2005. I bought it becasue I wanted a Cadillac so I got one. I loved it. I had no problems with it. The only thing that I did no like was the cost of the front brake pads. So I traded it in for a 2008 Chevy Malibu LTZ. I would recommend this car to anyone."

"I bought my 2005 CTS brand new. To date there has not been one problem at all. This car handles beautifully and is pretty quick if you get on it with sport shift mode. The quality of everything is basically what you would expect from Cadillac. Mine is black on black on black on black. Meaning black exterior. Black interior. Black wheels. Black lights. Makes it amazing to look at. Straight exhaust so now it sounds amazing. For the price I would highly recommend this car over anything of the same caliber."

Among the best cars I have ever owned

"I dont know where to start. The LS6 is a handbuilt beast straight out of the Corvette Z06 (04-05 model years), and it acts every bit the part. The FG2 suspension package makes this car handle like its on rails. It is truly incredible, i have owned STi's, Evo's and FD's, and this is right up there with the best of them. The Brembo brakes will throw you around good, and are plently, no upgrade needed. The wheels are actually Italian Speedlines, same OEM as Ferrari and Lambo. You cannot get more bang for the buck. The interior is on the lame side of things, but oh well. It comfortable enough, just not as well laid out as a Lexus, for example. However, the CTS-v will destroy any Lexus on the road, and if you come against an M or AMG, it's a driver's race. Assuming one of the Germans don't break down."
