"After doing a three-month research of this vehicular, I had a chance to test drive this car one day during my lunch and it was the most love I ever felt for a cars performance and features. I will always recommend a Cadillac CTS to anyone who wants a quality car that owns the road and holds its value."

A Beautiful Car

"I bought the car with 23K miles and have only added about 1000. I love the way it looks and handles. Performance and fuel mileage are quite adequate with the base 3.6. I really like the performance suspension and 18" wheels and I love the six speed automatic.. I added the spare tire for security. I probably won't stay with the Run-Flat tires when it comes time to replace. The driver's seat is a little too firm. It had a rattle in the shifter and one in the rear deck but they were resolved. I just received a recall to recalibrate the oil life sensor due to timing chain wear, but I don't let it tell me when to change oil, I like the 3000 mile intervals. Would I recommend this car to a friend, Absolutely!"

"I gave the Cadillac a chance after owning an Audi A4Sline and BMW 328ci previously. Unfortunately, the effort falls short, mostly in the quality department. There are intermittent rattles in the rear-sounds like the speakers have pinball machine parts in them. Fit and finish and gaps are not tight in places, mostly on the interior. There are other rattles, and wind noise is bothersome. There are intermittent electronic glitches- turn it on, and the audio system simply doesn't work at times. The dealership has not been pleasant to work with. If the car is having a "good" day and the noises are kept to a minimum, it is quite comfortable. I have the "4" and it works well in snow and inclement weather. This is an over-priced vehicle. Going north of 40K and not getting push button start or xenon headlamps is a joke. There were no poor reviews on this vehicle that I could find by the established media. I feel these reviews are a disservice to consumers. Anyone used to an Audi or BMW is not going to be satisfied with this vehicle."

"Fantastic car. I have driven trucks and SUV?s for the last few years. I wanted better mileage , performance and good looks in a new vehicle. I chose the 2008 CTS. This car rocks every minute I am in it. The look is cool. Outside to in, this car reeks of performance and style! I was very worried about perception and have found that it is my car that is being looked at! With a ton of acceleration, I now have to worry about the speed limit again! This is definitely not my Dads car. An American machine and very cool! Plus it gets 23 miles per gallon!"

"POSSIBLY A GREAT CAR BUT---- IT RUMBLES GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT ROAD SPEED AND THE ROAD NOISE IS EXCESSIVE - LIKE A SEMI TRUCK EXPECIALLY ON CONCRETE YOU NEED EAR MUFFS. NOISIEST CAR I HAVE ECER OWNED AND TRANSFERS BUMPS BAD!!! THE DEALER HASN.T RESPONDED TO THIS COMPLAINT . I WILL PROBABLY TRADE THIS YEAR. IT IS A CTS4 , MAYBE THIS CONTRIBUTES TO THE VIBRATION AND NOISES."
