"LOVE IT! I would highly recommend this car. Smooth, quite very comfortable. The car drives like a dream. And Bose says it all."

"GREAT CAR I have been driving a Lincoln LS V-8 for 10 years. The 3.6 CTS is not near as quick, but overall the CTS is a very nice car."

"Purchased my CTS coupe 5,000 miles ago. Beautiful car. One of the best looking in years. But looks can be deceiving. The transmission has a terrible shift that Cadillac acknowledges, but says there is no repair. When you are slowing to approach a stop or light and do not make a full stop, then accelerate, the car makes a terrible jerk. So bad that my wife thought it was me and said quit that. Cadillac calls it a 'vacuum gap'. I have other words for it. It is really strange that Cadillac has a name for something they say isn't wrong and is acceptable??? This is the second, and last Cadillac I'll purchase. Cadillac headquarters simply states that there has not been enough complaints to warrant a repair. Wow. Don't buy a new model if you want repairs. It is really a shame since it is such a beautiful car, but looks can be deceiving. Save your money and try another brand."

"Outstanding in every respect except gas mileage. However, nobody should buy this automobile if that is a consideration. I've owned numerous Corvettes and hot rod Camaros. Although I love all of them, this one takes the cake overall. Magnificent automobile!!!"

"I have my CTS coupe now 5 months and by far the best car I've driven. I started out trying to be practical and looking at the Buick Regal turbo. The Regal wasn't bad if your looking for a decent vanilla car to commute to work each day. Once I started to price one out to lease, I found myself being able to get a CTS sedan for the same price with all the rebates available thru GM. One I saw the CTS coupe I had to have it. My next problem was color, I ended up with the silver, mainly because I refused to pay the $1k for the white or red and ended up going with a fully loaded model. The only negatives I can mention is that the sideview mirrors don't retract unless you pull them in and why isn't there a turn signal light on the sideview mirror either. You can find cars for half the price that offer them, why not the CTS ?? Cadillac is definetly back, even my 18 year old daughter can't wait to get her hands on it. Styling, comfort, ride and quality. you get it all with the CTs coupe!!"

"Wanted the "V", but NOT the low mpg so I got the 2 dr coupe and "V'd" it out. Grille, calipers, mats, emblems, exhaust etc and now I have the LOOK I wanted (and LOVE) with all wheel drive PLUS very good mpg. Not a rocket ship in performance but certainly IS in features. ALL the toys! Only had it 3 months so far but love, love, love it. An absolute recommend for anyone looking at a CTS. Drove the V and it was a rocket, but the 3.6 is no slouch either.....just not a Porsche and not a V."

"I have a lot of issues with my 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe. I feel it's underpowered for the weight, as it has no pick-up response. Plus the gas mileage is awful around town, which is most of my driving. Absolutely hate the sunroof - what a ridiculous design - only opens about 2 inches. There's a blind spot big enough to hide a tractor trailer - I'm constantly getting honked at because I don't see the car next to me. The front mullion - or whatever you call that giant frame arm holding the windshield blocks your vision on a tight curve. And speaking of turning, the radius is huge. Plan on making a lot of K-turns to get out of a tight spot. Visibility out the back window is about zero. That's why they had to put in the automatic backup screen, which pops in & out the dash every time you go in & out of reverse - really annoying. Very low apron in the front. I'm constantly scraping the pavement when coming out of a driveway - and you'd better plan not to pull up tight to a parking curb or you'll lose that apron piece completely. Also, the trunk lid doesn't stay up when you're loading groceries - wear a helmet if you don't want a concussion. The few plusses are that the interior is lovely and the OnStar & Nav system is superb. However, there's so many fiddly buttons on the console that even after a year I still can't turn on the heat without taking my eyes off the road to look for the right control. Yeah, the car gets lots of compliments, the CTS styling is pretty swank. But overall, I wish I'd bought the Mercedes C350 Coupe."

"Bought a new 2011 CTS-V sedan about 3 months ago. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the car, but I don't feel that GM gives buyers what they're paying for. The performance is top notch. Thats to be expected from a car with 556hp and 551ft/lbs. I'm disappointed with the automatic transmission though. Its just not real good. It shifts slowly, and downshifts are badly delayed. Handling is top notch, and the ride isn't bad for a sport sedan. My biggest problem with this car, is that its essentially a $36,000 CTS thats been enhanced for performance duty. Nowhere is that more apparent then the interior. From day 1 there have been squeaks and rattles. The latch that holds the trunk pass thru is the cheapest plastic in the world. The panels around it flex with almost no pressure, and the latch rattles in its mount. The UltraView sunroof is even worse. Constant rattles. The expensive Recaro seats rub against the console and squeak. And there are a myriad of other squeaks and rattles in the interior, all due to the garbage plastcs GM uses. Just push on any panel and it flexes, rubs against another panel and squeaks. My E39 540i didn't make these noises when it was 6 years old! The mechanicals are questionable as well. There are weird clunks coming from the back of the car, from god knows where....... With less then 1,000 miles, on a $72k car! Performance wise, the CTS-V is a great competitor to the E63 and M5. Luxury wise, GM has a long way to go. For over $70k, they really need to upgrade the interior. If they can't do it, drop the price at least $10k. The V may cost less then its competitors, but you get a lot less for what you're paying. Buyers should know what they're getting before dropping the coin on it. For me, performance is most important. For luxury buyers, look elsewhere. You're not getting luxury here."
