"I purchased a 2002 Base Deville May 2008. The only thing that has gone wrong is the AC fan $800 and it uses about 1 quart of oil every 3000 miles. Exterior and interior could use more chrome. But it is very comfotable and handles well."

"Car has 40,000 miles on it and we are already replacing the torque converter. That's not right. Still should be under factory warranty, (miles wise) but because of the years Cadillac will not honor. Very disappointing."

"The Northstar engine running on regular fuel and averages 18 plus city and 25 plus highway MPG. Excellent handleing and confort out of this world. Drive 200 miles non stop and you are not at all tired or cramped up like some other cars that just don't have that living room feeling. I took my driving test with my dad's 1932 Cadillac and have had Oldsmobiles, Buicks and Cadillacs since 1944, this 2002 Cadillac is one of the best I ever owened. Iam thinking of a 2008 or 2009 Deville but hate to part with my 2002 Deville DHS."

"We bought this car about 3 years ago and it had 60,000 miles on it. It still had some of the certified warranty left on it. Thank God it did because we have had it in the shop almost once a month since we've had it. A/C, windows, electronics, engine mounts, and now at 97,000 miles, the transmission needs rebuilding. Worst car for reliability that I have ever seen and I work in the business. Will never own another Cadillac as long as I live."

"I love Cadillacs. My dad has owned them forever. I bought my first one at age 28. I still own my first Caddy Deville. The styling is awesome. I tell my friends "this ain't your Grandpa's Caddy". Once they get in it and I stomp on the gas they know what I mean. Unfortunately, the reliability isn't so good. Cadillac needs to improve this. I have had various problems with different features and now I am having a problem with the engine."
