"I have drove a few diffrent styles of the Silverado and let me tell you the 1991 looks, sounds and feels like a real truck. The 2008 silverados are not capable of towing as much as the old 5.7L V8. They say the 08 is only good for 6500 LBS. I have pulled 7800 LBS. with my 1991 and could barely tell it was there. The velvet interior of the 1991 is a nice touch it helps the ride comfort witch is also great. The 1991 handles like a average car. Another plus is the turning radius is outstanding. The 1991 is a great truck for showing off, just riding or a work truck. The Silverado is ready for all of them. The 1991 Silverado is ready for a long lasting reliable relationship."

"We bought the truck when it was 5 years old, and it had 88000 miles on it. It had all the features that they offer. It is still running strong at 261000 miles. It is a extended cab, short box, with a 5.7 liter 350ci motor. I would recommend this truck to anyone, even if they arn't looking for one."

"My family has own the 1991 Chevy pickup half ton for aprx. 9-10 years and it is still going strong. The one downside of ours is that the odometer quits working. It has been siting at 191k for a long time now. We went on a 500 mile trip and the odometer said we went 24 miles. Right now the truck would probably be sitting at 250k to 300k. There has been no major things wrong with this pickup, we had to replace a cab corner once but that is to be expected with a 16 year old truck. It has a 5.7 liter engine with plenty of power. We've hauld a lot of hay bales with her and she has enough power plus more. It is the best, most reliable truck we've owned!"
