"I bought this truck in 1998 with 44,000 miles and some remaining warranty. I now have338,000 miles on original 350 gas engine and automatic. I have only replaced the radiator and electric fuel pump. Small annoying things have finally failed or become hard to use like the mirrors are loosening and do not hold position well. The anodizing on the aluminum wheels is beginning to look a little rough Still looks really good for its age like Dolly Parton! It is not pampered but gets a lot of highway miles. Braking on this truck has always been below average with a soft pedal under a hard stop. Kind of like me, a senior citizen but still going and nothing major has happened. Steering is still tight with no looseness in the front suspension or steering. Still running on the original drive shaft and rear differential. Body and interior are still tight with no rattles or noises. Full gauges set not the skimpy gauges of new vehicles. I love this truck. I would not be afraid to head out on a long trip with this truck. It will be pulling a small travel trailer next year."

"Mine is a 6.5 Turbo diesel and it has VERY GOOD FUEL MILEGE! not the best on power but very comfortable, dependable, and the gas ones i dont now about but everything else thumbs up!!"

"Steering wheel is too big. The power window switches on the driver side need to be better spaced. The cassette deck is too far from the driver to reach comfortably,{ even though thats where a better up to date stereo is forced to go}, and the side manual mirrors should have been power, because after going to the car wash, they almost always need adjusting."

"205000 nothing major wrong hard to come by dad bought it off the ramps at the dealer the first truck i drove when i was 16 years old now im 27 and he gave it to me thing runs perfect belt here and there maybe a starter all normal matnece i think"

"i've had this '94 w/t since 1998 bought used w/ 65,000 mi. it now has 250,000 mi. with no end in sight.it is a 4.3 v6 5-speed manual.never a major problem. it is by far the most reliable vehicle i've ever owned.my commute is 75 mi. per day round trip."

"I bought my '94 K1500 w/ 92K miles on it. It now has 225K miles. It's been a very reliable and comfortable vehicle for commuting, light hauling & towing. No problems worth noting. It's equipped with the 5.7L V8 and Auto Trans."
