"Our son bought a 2000 for its great looks and mileage. We looked up its safety rating over a similarly priced sporty import and it paid off! A tractor tailer hit the Camaro, rolled up on the left rear quarter panel going 60 mph and forced a 180 flip into the next lane under another semi. Now going backwards, that trailer started to come up over the drivers left front fender. Good-byes were said. After being hit, bounced under and rolled up on, doing a 180 then a 540 it was braked and ended up from the right side of the expressway (2nd right lane) to the far left lane/shoulder (5th lane). Our son walked away. :O) Shaken, stirred and bruised, with much physical pain and emotional shock. But seeing the pictures you would not believe anyone opened the door and got out on their own. He was 25 at the time and in great physical shape. This was his first car, he babied it and he planned on keeping it forever. His 2000 Camaro Sebring Silver love is 'gone', but he is not. Thank you Lord and Chevrolet."

"I love the Z28. I've owned 3 and never had any problems, just regular maintenance. Yes, some of the parts like brakes, tires, etc are more expensive; however, for the performance the car delivers it's expected. This is a great 3 season car that gives you the most bang for your buck performance wise."

"How can you go wrong. It is a chavy camaro. I owned a 2000 for over five years. My wife had three cars in that time. The camaro outlaset, out performed, and out handled any of the other cars. I would buy one again."

"This car is a head turner! Way to go Chevy! The "SS" pkg is all that it's cracked up to be and with a few mods it becomes a real BEAST, in a hurry!!! This car has factory muscle, but with a few trick workouts, it can flex some major muscle! It handles much better than one might think, and is really quite nimble in traffic! The inside is so plush, especially if it's black leather! Get the red color of course,...we all know it's the best color combo with black interior! Gotta love that Corvette engine also!!! They don't make these anymore, so they're rapidly disappearing off the market into collector's hands. So if you want one...better get it pretty soon, or they'll all be gone!!!"

"The Camaro looks good, is fast even with the V-6 and automatic, and handles well. It's a bit crude, though--rough-riding,noisy--and not the most reliable car on the road."
