"Have owned a few Corvettes and this 2002 Convertible is really a great high performance bargain and a beautiful car. The styling with the top down reminds me of the classic two seater styling. All the components are rock solid, low maintenance, a kick to drive (except the run flat radials) and even my best economy car in the garage. Lots of FUN for not much money if you find a good used C5 Vette someone has cared for and buy from a private party after checking the CarFax."

"I am totally impressed with my Corvette. It's a "loaded" edition with remarkable beauty, handling, and dependability. As a high performance sports car, the cross country comfort is excellent. We get over 30 mpg on road trips (and that includes moments of enjoying it's power performance); it carries light luggage; 20 mpg around town is easy as well. It's the most rewarding sports car I've ever owned."

"Iam the 3rd owner of this vette. It had 24,000 miles on it when I bought it. I've put 5,000 miles on it, including a long road trip to Las Vegas. I couldn't be happier with this car, extreme performance, excellent handling, great looks, and decent mileage to boot. Over 27 mpg on the road trip. If you've never owned a vette and are thinking about buying one, go for it. No buyers remorse here."

"This is the best and happiest car purchase I've ever made and I'm 54 years old!! This car brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. Power, styling, cornering, smooth and fast acceleration...its got it all. I'm 6'5" and fit easily into the car....very comfortable even on long trips. GM did cut some corners to keep the cost down but I'm glad they did...I could buy one! Mine has been very reliable and I top out at 28.4 mpg without babying it. And no, this isn't about a mid life crisis.....what crisis includes a great car??!! I wanted rear drive ponies for a change and something fun to auto-cross....I found it. What a blast! Like someone said here...Quit thinking about buying one and just buy it!! You won't regret it."

"Wow, I also own a Jaguar XJR and thought it was fast with its Supercharged V-8 delivering 320 HP, but this baby is scary fast. Just bought her and since the dealer wasn't with me, I have romped it hard. I didn't get the Handling package in mine but it handles extremely well as is. Excellent sound system to cover any wind noises and more guages than anyone needs, but toooooooo much fun. I will rate again after I have owned it a while, but can't imagine my initial review to change. I took some advice from many sources and I share it with you. If you are thinking about buying one, Stop thinking, DO IT!"

"For a very high performance vehicle, the 2002 Corvette is very comfotable to drive and ride in as a passenger, possesses adjustable ride features, has a large cargo storage area, exceeds 30 MPG on the highway, possesses safe handling features, and the heads up display enables the driver to keep his eyes on the road at all times."
