"Wow, I also own a Jaguar XJR and thought it was fast with its Supercharged V-8 delivering 320 HP, but this baby is scary fast. Just bought her and since the dealer wasn't with me, I have romped it hard. I didn't get the Handling package in mine but it handles extremely well as is. Excellent sound system to cover any wind noises and more guages than anyone needs, but toooooooo much fun. I will rate again after I have owned it a while, but can't imagine my initial review to change. I took some advice from many sources and I share it with you. If you are thinking about buying one, Stop thinking, DO IT!"

"For a very high performance vehicle, the 2002 Corvette is very comfotable to drive and ride in as a passenger, possesses adjustable ride features, has a large cargo storage area, exceeds 30 MPG on the highway, possesses safe handling features, and the heads up display enables the driver to keep his eyes on the road at all times."

"My 2002 C5 Corvette is simply awesome! It has everything anyone could possibly ask for in a sports car...performance, style and comfort and, oh yes!, economy as well. My car could easly top 30 MPG on interstate hiways and even when I drove it on the Nurburgring, it averaged better than 14 MPG and at times I exceeded 165 MPH. With only a few bolt ons, I run 12.3 at 118 MPH in the quarter and on road courses in Europe, I could easily beat 911s, at least one Viper and other serious sport cars. On the hiways at legal speeds above 180 MPH (honest) several Ferraris, Porsches, M3s, M5s, Jaguars, Mercedes AMGs and even some serious bikes found out the hard way that my C5 is really fast! It has only 27,000 miles on it now and it glistens like new and turned heads in at least 10 countries and still gets looks in the USA! No one easily beats a Chevrolet Corvette...trust me...this 65 year old man has owned and driven some of the best cars made worldwide and this is the best! I wish it had better interior leather and the dash didn't reflect in the windshield. The seats could be more supportive and it could have used better factory brakes (I installed drilled and slotted Baers and stainless steel brake lines to fix the problem). The Z51 suspension is definitely the way to go and yet it rides very decently. The transmission shifter needs the same shifter installed on the C6s and it's easy to miss a shift to 3rd. The engine is strong and it uses almost no oil. Over all an awesome ride!"
