"The current series Corvette (referred to as the C6) represents the best value for the money in the segment. Outstanding performance, great styling, very low maintenance cost, excellent resale value, and..... at least 25 MPG on the highway on a bad day while routinely getting 17 to 19+ in town! There isn't anything originating in the UK, Germany, Italy orTokyo that can match it."

Best and worst I've ever owned

"Performance of this Z06 is fantastic. Exterior looks great. Interior is the worst of any car I've ever owned. Unforgiveable on a car that cost close to $100k when new. The seat cushions have collapsed already with only 16,000miles on the clock. Tyre roar is ridiculous (another example of how terrible runflats are). Reliability is not good enough with numerous electrical niggles that seem to be untraceable. Leaks from rear of the car also and this is with the low mileage mentioned above. I'll keep it until after summer and then sell it. Would never buy one again. I could get over some of the problems if it was a cheap car but it's not. So close and yet so far. Try harder Chevy and you'll have a world beater. Until then you have a car that only competes with the best in fanboys heads."

"Just purchased the 2007 Corvette. The car was a left over 2007, so I got a very good deal. I had a 65 Vette years ago, but the 2 don't compare. The performance, ride, handleling, and just about everything else is so much nicer."

"Corvette remains true to its creators...still a head turner with awesome power and able handling. Yes, it still can aggravate you with problems; and yet, if you are fortunate enough to own a Vette, a quick trip to the market is a party. Enjoy one of the best sportscars in the World...the Legend Lives!"

"This is my 3rd Vette. I've owned '00, '06, and now an '07. There are extream differences in the C5 and C6 Vette's. Handleing, ride and performance. Gas mileage is outstanding on my '07, 27+ hwy and 22+ city. I'm 64 yrs old and this car makes me feel young again. A corvette is probably the least expensive car to maintain I have ever owned. Get rid of the run-flat tires and you'll be amazed how much smoother the Vette rides and it's less noisey."

"Z51 with all available options. As most reviewers opine, extremely enjoyable to drive. Car is crazy fast and would quickly get you into trouble without all of the traction control features. I particularly enjoy the inside spaciousness for a sports car. The car does sit low so you'll wind up with plenty of scrapes and dings on the front of the car. The ride is not too harsh. Heads up display is a nice feature that I actually always use. The 1-4 skip-shift on the six speed can be annoying but you can easily avoid it by shifting later. My only complaints are that I do get a small creaking sound from the removable roof panel when it gets hot out and surprisingly the Bose system with Navigation doesn't sound very good. Otherwise, it has been a fun car to have."
