"The car is beautiful, comfortable, gets good mileage, and has everything I wanted. I am surprised that the front has a wind scoop that comes so far down that it hits parking bumpers. I have tried to figure out how to remove that, but it seems integral with the front quarter panels. What a silly design flaw on such a wonderful vehicle."

"I had a Ford Explorer for 6 1/2 years and never enjoyed it as much as I do my 2013 Equinox LTZ. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone."

"I will be driving it to Florida on the 25th of Jan. and will give it a good test as I only have 600 miles on it now. I have the four cylinder ltz and it is real comfortable to drive and sit in, I have not decided on the four cylinder performance but will know after my vacation."

"It's been a long time since I've purchased a GM product. I had a good reliable Dodge Durango, but it was getting old, minor things going wrong with it, and was a gas hog. Wanted a vehicle that was large, but not as huge as a Durango. Fell in love with the Equinox immediately. I got an LT model. The 6-speed trans is great. I had previously read some bad reviews that it was always shifting. Of course it is - it is 6 speeds. I haven't had a problem with it shifting. I test drove both the 3.6L V6 and the 2.4L 4 cylinder. The V6 has lots of pep, but the 4 is more than adequate. I doubt I will get the 32mpg on the highway that is claimed, but it's plenty good enough. Great electronic sound system/entertainment package. Good handling, comfortable ride. All in all, a great vehicle at the price and wish I would have bought one years ago."

"The fully loaded 2013 LTZ is a great SUV with lots of terrific options. I was looking to purchase a 2010 used LTZ, but got a great lease price on a new one and indulged in options I couldn't otherwise afford. I got the saftey package that warns me if I get too close to the car in front of me and if I drift lanes. I would highly reccommend this package for anyone who knows they tend to become distracted while driving. My husband hates the warnings, but they are easily turned off right from the steering wheel. The backup camera with parking assist is also fantastic for those of us who are not great parkers. I thought I could live without the heated seats and power liftgate, but now I'm totally spoiled. The remote engine starter is also a very impressive feature and starts the climate control system where you left it so you can pre-heat or pre-cool the car. The ECO button combined with the real time display of your gas mileage turns driving into a money saving video game on the 4 cylinder model. It actual displays your "Best Score" which encourages you to pay close attention to your driving habits. I had perfect highway conditions the other day for a road trip and using the ECO button and cruise control was able to average over 33 MPG! City driving is a whole different story of course, but you know that going into an SUV purchase. I love the styling and interior accent lighting at night too. I only see room for improvement in the electronics. I found the navigation system to be less intuitive than others I have had and I really had to read the manual to get the hang of it. They give you options to controll it via touch screen or control buttons or voice. Options are great, but it is confusing until you know it. Spend a good amount of time with the salesman to learn it before you drive off the lot! The option to play a movie while parked on that little screen is ridiculous, but the option to connect your phone via Bluetooth as an audio device is very nice. On Star is not worth the money in my opinion. It did not save me much time over checking something on Yelp on my smartphone. The safety feature of the car calling for help if you have had an accident is comforting, but I don't want to pay a huge monthly fee for that. I will cancel after the free subscription expires."

"My husband and I have been looking at the Equinox for the last 2 years. I needed something that was more comfortable on my back and hips. The Equinox puts me UP in the vehicle. where our 2007 Impala put me DOWN IN the vehicle, so it was the exact opposite to get out, which really hurt my body at times. We love our Equinox and got it at the right time for the money."

"Would love to see this vehicle offer larger rim sizes and a True 4WD instead of the AWD. Parralell parking assist would be a nice feature for a car that has just about every other option. Vehicle does not get 32 MPG highway. Although I am getting much better gas mileage than the Ford Explorer that I traded in on this Chevy, and I am not a Chevy person, I am only averaging about 24 MPG and was told that the vehicle gets 32 MPG Highway. Would like to see more accurate MPG ratings. Overall it is a nice vehicle and I am satisified, however I would still consider Ford products if they were to get better gas mileage and offer pricing a little lower than what they have for the 2013's."

"The Chevy Equinox offers great performance and technology for the price. This SUV provide a smooth comfortable and quiet ride, one that can not be found in a much more expensive "luxury cars". The seats are very comfortable and there much leg room space for the rear passengers withe the sliding rear seat. I test drove many cars in the class withe conclusion that the Equinox is ahead of the competition. The entry level engine has plenty of power. Chevy's "My Link" offers great integration with my Iphone. The Iphone applications voids the need for an inferior in-dash or separate GPS. You can get vocal GPS commands through the car speakers. A big positive surprise from an American car maker"
