"We have purchased more than 30 brand new vehicles in the last 30 years, and this may be the best we've ever purchased! Beats the hel_ out of the Land Rovers and BMW's that we lost thousands and thousands of dollars on each one."

"Stylish and comfortable with bells and whistles that I like such as the turn by turn navigation, the Eco button which saves on gas and the way gas prices are today, I'm glad I have it also, it takes regular gas...which is a plus, has the pioneer premium sound system..hands free calling, rear-view camera...I'm extremely pleased with my new car"

"WE BOUGHT OUR EQUINOX IN NOVEMBER OF 2012. WE HAVE A DRIVEWAY THAT IS A BEAR TO GET UP AND THE EQUINOX DOES NOT SPIN AT ALL. HANDLES GREAT AND RIDES VERY GOOD. WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT GOOD OF A RIDE. WE HAVE BEEN AVERAGING ABOUT 24 MPG WHICH I CONSIDER NOT BAD FOR WINTER DRIVING. LOT OF WARM UP TIME WITH THE REMOTE START.CAN'T WAIT TO TAKE ON A TRIP."

"Pros-I like the Equinox and it is nice for a couple. It rides exceptionally well. I like the way it handles turns & braking. It is sharp looking too. Cons-There is not anywhere to hook your grocery bags to, which means your food is rolling around and breaking if not placed carefully. I have also noticed on the front doors that the built in pockets are so small I can't put a magazine or map book there without it falling out. This vehicle is a great replacement for downsizing as long as you can live without any kind of storage."

"I've owned my new equinox for three weeks. Unfortunately I've only been able to drive it one. Looking forward to when I can drive it again. As it has many new toy that my 2005 did not have."

"I have had a few SUV's, most recent before the Equinox was the Cadillac SRX, very small & pricey for the quality! The Equinox beats it hands down!"

"The car is beautiful, comfortable, gets good mileage, and has everything I wanted. I am surprised that the front has a wind scoop that comes so far down that it hits parking bumpers. I have tried to figure out how to remove that, but it seems integral with the front quarter panels. What a silly design flaw on such a wonderful vehicle."

"I will be driving it to Florida on the 25th of Jan. and will give it a good test as I only have 600 miles on it now. I have the four cylinder ltz and it is real comfortable to drive and sit in, I have not decided on the four cylinder performance but will know after my vacation."

"It's been a long time since I've purchased a GM product. I had a good reliable Dodge Durango, but it was getting old, minor things going wrong with it, and was a gas hog. Wanted a vehicle that was large, but not as huge as a Durango. Fell in love with the Equinox immediately. I got an LT model. The 6-speed trans is great. I had previously read some bad reviews that it was always shifting. Of course it is - it is 6 speeds. I haven't had a problem with it shifting. I test drove both the 3.6L V6 and the 2.4L 4 cylinder. The V6 has lots of pep, but the 4 is more than adequate. I doubt I will get the 32mpg on the highway that is claimed, but it's plenty good enough. Great electronic sound system/entertainment package. Good handling, comfortable ride. All in all, a great vehicle at the price and wish I would have bought one years ago."
