"As a long time Honda owner, I was hesitant to leave and go over to a Chevy. The Equinox tops its competition and is a great choice."

"It looks good, drives like a car, and is comfortable for freeway commuting. The dashboard instruments are where I expected them, and easy to reach. Heating and cooling kick in quickly. The acceleration is acceptable for freeway driving, but the car struggles a little on an extended uphill; there's plenty of oomph, the engine just has to downshift to keep up to speed. The cruise control is easy to understand, but a bit quirky with the "squishy" controls; compared to the Impala's buttons, it was a bit to get accustomed to. Mileage is a solid 28-30 mpg highway, right on what I expected. Good cup holders, very clever mirror-in-mirror rear views on each side makes it easy to see who's in the blind spot. Lots of headroom, acceptable leg room - you are tempted to rest your leg on the side of the car. Really nice seat adjustments; easy to move the seat to that 'just right' point of comfort. Front and rear windshield wipers a big plus, grab bars on the windows very nice. Overall, a really good car at a reasonable price."

"I have a 2011, 6cyl, loaded. 25,000 miles. Zero problems. Gas, oil and filter and take care of it. GM did make a comeback with the Nox. I am ready to buy again in 2014."

"The interior is great. Love the built in phone and rear viewfinder features. Handling could be better. Not sporty - a bit dull driving."
