"I like my Impala SS. It has good looks, a nice interior and the 300+ HP V8 gives it a lot of performance for the money."

"I was the last owner of this vechile and the only reason I traded was for a new one. This is a very nice, clean, reliable vechile. Gets great gas mileage and has excellent tires and new battery. This car drives and handles excellent and you won't find a better cleaner value for the money."

"I'm always surprised when I read negative reviews on the Impala. I really like this car. Full size comfort, comfortable performance in all weather and speed conditions. Impala is well balanced and performs excellent in rain and snow. Low maintanence and 23mpg. These cars where intelligent in their design; all switches and systems are intuitive and work as intended without a lot of fuss and extraneous information. I hope that Chevrolet keeps the functional intelligence of the Imapla as it moves into the next generation. It would be a shame to lose this last of the smart, simple and value based full size American sedan. Chevrolet is correct in not diving to soon into the over complicating of its full size, Ford did it with Taurus and the redesign killed a great nameplate."

"I brought my 07 Impala used with 28,500 miles on it. I just traded it with 109,000 miles on it. This is my second Impala my first was a 03 which I traded with 113,000 miles. Neither car has ever been on a tow truck. I tell people if you are buying and Impala 2000 to 2005 look for 3.8 V6 great motor good power. If you go for model years 2006 to 2011 go with 3.9 V6. The 3.5 is ok but the 3.9 you get better performance. I was told V8 is not very reliable, but I don?t know anyone with one so I can?t say for sure. I would look for a 2006 to 2011 LT3 or LTZ with 3.9 because you?ll get more bang for your buck. Off the line I was able to take my brother?s Dodge Charger 3.5V6 every time. I?m 6 feet tall and over 250 pounds and for this car very roomy and comfortable."

"Good looks, finish, gas-mileage, and, hopefully, trade-in value. V-6 has plenty of pasing-power. Approaching 60,000 miles with no major issues. Ride is a bit rough on concrete surfaces. A real step-down though, if you've owned Cadillacs."

"When I went to buy a car I looked at the Accord the Camry and the Impala. I purchased a Impala LTZ and I love it. I have had one minor issue but the Dealer fixed it when I had 39000 miles and was out of warranty. They fixed it as goodwill and actually appologized for me having a problem. All I can say is that was awesome. Chevrolet has come a long way and really bend over backwards to make sure that I was happy. I would noy hessitate to buy another one. Looking forward to the new Impala next year. Thanks Chevrolet"

"I purchased my 2007 Impala on 12/31/10 and have been very happy with it. I initially wanted the Malibu but got a great deal on the Impala. The ride is very smooth, it handles great and it gets me out of the snow!!"

"i bought this car new in 2006. having a long commute to work, wanted a large safe car but also needed good milage. this car gets 28mpg on avg (80%hwy 20%cty driving) it now has 151,000 miles on it. i still love it! I have the LT1 with the e85 3.8. since the car had 30,000 miles i have used mobile1 synthetic oil ONLY. i have changed the trans fluid 3 times each 50,000. the motor sounds like brand new, still silent and still gets great milage and had plenty of power and still doesnt burn oil. still have had NO PROBLEMS WITH IT! in fact, last time i had it serviced ( I ONLY take it to dealer for service with exception of oil changes ) the GM goodwrench guy came and found me to say "when i was under your car i thought it had 30,000 miles on it or so.... when i saw how many it had i had tofind the owner and say, that's how to keep up your car!" I will, without question, buy another chevrolet. I have never had a japanese car brand come anywhere close to this, by now id have put a new trans in it... thats right, chevrolet MUCH superior to Japanese car brands! also my 100,000 miles service i wanted my old plugs as they tell how the motor is doing. they looked as if they had 25,000 on them, not buring oil or running hot. THANKS CHEVY!"
