Redesigned last year, the Chevrolet Impala full-size sedan is offered with a choice of three engines, including a new V-6 that can run on gasoline or compressed natural gas. The Impala seats up to five people and competes with the Ford Taurus, Chrysler 300 and Toyota Avalon.
New for 2015 The base 2.5-liter four-cylinder gains fuel-saving stop-start technology that shuts the engine off when the car is stationary, like at a stoplight, and restarts it when the driver lifts off the brake pedal. There's also an available bi-fuel V-6 engine that runs on gasoline or CNG.
In addition, the OnStar communication system adds 4G LTE internet connectivity with a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. A three-month/3-gigabyte data trial is included.
