"As an artist, I love the design of this car. I love the leather bolstered seats on the SS, and the sweet steering wheel. As a mom I also love all it's room and storage capacity. One of my favorite features is in the back there are little hooks for mom's to place their grocery bags so that they don't roll around while you're driving, now that's smart thinking. It also gets decent gas mileage for the power it has. Yes, I LOVE this car!"

"Talk about awesome and amazing! This care out performs any other car in its class and beyond in my opinion~! I had a volvo prior and was very reliable but not comfortable and def not enough storage room, but HELLO this car has that and then some, the standard features are the best, remote start and security a bonus! This car handles great, the turns are amazing! I love the ride, rides like a small cadilac no joke! Im o impressed and I am a very bug guy about 375 lbs and holy cow there is alot of room, more in this car than the ford explorer I owned way back, this by far beats anything I have had for comfort and reliable, the only downfall is that they dont make it anymore which is a true shame, so if you can get ur hands on one, test drive it and see for urself!"

"We've owned the car since March 2007. I like driving this car. It has great get-up-and-go. With good tires, it is really great in the snow. Good gas mileage, too. I prefer to drive a standard, but this car doesn't come with a standard transmission. My husband loves the car, but there are some issues. The brake rotors keep warping under normal use, we've had 2 sets put in over the past 30,000km. Apparently, this is a problem with most Chevrolet automobiles lately. There is a service bulletin regarding the steering. Our steering problem was fixed under warranty. Now at under 80,000 km, either the HO2 sensor or the MAF sensor has gone. I also don't like the limited visibility thru the rear window for backing up, and the wide windshield posts have caused some sightline problems on occasion. There are some fairly sizable blind spots. We've had customer service problems with GM Canada regarding the rotor problem. They admit there is a problem with poor quality from the manufacturer, but are reluctant to do much about it. After a lot of complaining, we finally got some resolve, but we still needed to pay some shop time. The passenger seat is not as comfortable as the driver's seat. The center storage unit it too tall to rest your arm on. For a vehicle that won best car, it could be a bit better."

"Ok WE all know that imports make a better car overall right. They last longer than our american cars. Well I drove a honda civic till somone decided to steal it. Went out the next day and got a deal on a malibu maxx and wont go back. Yes this is not a super car, the gas station loves me more but I love the room. My maxx is not that big but at 6-1 its more roomy than my civic and a lot of other cars. It does have some noise from- they say the anti-lock brakes booster pump. Ok i just turn up the cd player a lil louder. I'm going to tell you tho I like the idea more and more knowing that with an american car that - one I will be tryin to keep some of my hard worked for money in the states and two- they dont like to steal newer american cars like the imports. this engine has some go to it so dont think that you cant roll out. I guy wasnt watching when he was changing lanes and i got on this puppy and i moved out, something with my honda wouldnt have happened. If I had leather seats I would be in total love! The SS model yeah its nice but hey the regular maxx is great and do you really need 40 more HP? Look at the engine spec. and then ask yourself. I'm not saying this car is the best car, but for the money I cant see why I would buy anything else and i drive 100 miles a day in this bad boy and love every minute of it!!"

"I really like my Mailbu Maxx. I bought one of the first ones 3 years ago. It has been a great car. I have not had a single problem with it. I was surprised at the passing speed on the freeway. Just takes off when I punch it to get around some cell phone talker/driver. The packaging is really well thought out with ease of use of controls, DVD player, two sunroofs, etc. This is the best mid-size vehicle on the market."

"I've just recently gotten married and am a new homeowner, so I was searching for a vehicle that would be versatile, functional, fuel-efficient, yet was still fun and affordable. I test drove a variety of cars. Thankfully I stopped in at a chevy dealership and test drove the Maxx on a whim. The Maxx drove great (great pickup, good handling, etc), sat nice, and had a lot of great standard features (remote start, keyless entry, etc). I found that it got good mileage, especially for the size of vehicle (I consitently get more than 31mpg). I love the vehicle and enjoy driving it every day."

"I've only put 400 miles on it, but it's a great car for the money. Lots of standard features, very quiet and performance is more than adequate with the 200 hp V-6. GM has come a long way, especially in fit and finish (particularly in the interior). Go drive one."

"In december 2005. went car5 shopping for the whole weekend. I looked everwhere for the perfect vehicle. On my last stop I saw a 2005 Chevy Malibu Maxx. At first I wasn't sure if it would fit my teenage lifestyle. I take it for a test drive and know it was the car for me. I was impressed with it's quick responsiveness and great handling and smooth ride. A monthe later I was called in to work. It had all ready snowed a good 7 inches. I wasn't sure if I would make it there. Fortunately my tires had a great amount of tread on them. I let it warm upo for 10 minutes and then started to drive. I begin spinning slowly. The traction control quick-in and got me out of the drive way. Also i was impressed of how great the ABS worked while stopping; IT was stopping on dry roads. I My next endeavour was climbing the big hill before the main road. Last I got stuck. It went up the hill the same way with my Malibu Maxx and it harderly spun and when that happened the Traction Control assisted me and literally pushed me out to the top. It made it to wor and home safe. I think I made a great chioce and I'm looking forwrd to buying the SS model if there available in the next few years. The motto stands true "LIKE A ROCK""
