"I just unloaded our LTZ after a 4 year lease. It was our 7th Chev Truck (Tahoes / Suburbans) and we took really good care of it to buy off lease and found ourselves stuck with too many issues too purchase. The final straw is the 07 5.3L engine oil issue which started at about 80Kmi. We had the new fix done on it and it reduced the problem to from 1 to 2 qrts / 2k mi to 0.5. The 4/8 cylinder active fuel management design does nothing to save MPG but is causing this issue. We used durablend oil and changed every 3K. The other issues included: u-joint, intermittent A/C issues - never resolved, emission stuff, chevy mudflaps removing paint from car, interior door handles (replaced twice!), rear spoiler and plastic window trim falling off, front bumper broke driving home though drifts in a snow storm (+$1000!), electric folding seats work about 25% of the time, heated washer system removed to fire risk!. We bought a used 07 Denali XL to have the 6.0L engine with 57K mi. This engine has no serious oil buring issue and you don't loose much on MPG but get AWD and more power. We saw NO oil consumption on our first 3K mi. So we are no in love with a GM suv again. I would not recommend an 07 suburban to anyone!"

"I bought my third minivan when I was 24,and with three kids in carseats, it was great. But now, at 31,and with my kids being almost 12,almost 9 and 6 and a half, my husband and I were done with the minivan and wanted a car that was stylish, reliable, and could still fit our kids and their friends. And all of the sports stuff! We bought a 2007 Z71 Suburban. This car is the perfect fit, we absolutely love it. And my husband is no longer embarrassed to drive the family car!"

"Nice comfortable ride. The GM Certified car program is excellant. 1 year warranty and the truck was delivered in like new condition. The LTZ is the most comfortable truck by far. Decent gas milage 15 to 16 MPG city and 18 to 19 highway. That is great for a 5800 pound vehicle plus occupants. We purchased this after a Chrysler town and country. We had that vehicle in for service more times that we care to count. Glad it was a lease. GM is better build quality than Chrysler. Plus our used truck has much less issues than the newer mini van. Highly recommend a Suburban LTZ"

"Where me and my family live we get a lot of snow and our 2008 Chevy Suburban 2500 4x4 plows right through it. My family also owns a 2005 Toyota Prius that cannot tow our 10k lbs camper and 7k lbs boat with it. we got this vehicle to tow them. our kids are growing bigger and our Suburban has the second row buckets and it is very easy for them to get into the back. Before we got this Suburban we had a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged and it could not tow any of our things and we had to hire people. If you have a big family i strongly recommend this vehicle. As much as i loved my Range Rover i am glad i got this vehicle!"

"4th full size SUV started with 97 Tahoe put 185K traded for 01 Suburban put 146k another awesome ride, then to 07 Toyota SUV because I heard good things, WRONG it always had issues, I traded that on my 07 used Suburban with 23K now it has 71K and its a awesome truck drives like a car, Fuel mileage is best yet on any SUV I owned, average 14.2 City and 19.1 Hwy. at 75mph. when I pull my boat then mileage drops. my neighbor just traded his Honda in because it could not handle his boat, now his wife took his over, Great GM vehicle"

"Im in absolut love with my new suburban. I traded my Honda piolt in for it because it needed a new transmition and i didnt want to pay for it with the warrenty being done. I got a great deal on the truck, and i got a LIFETIME WARRENTY! Most GM cars do now, and you might think they break alot, and i have had no problems with the car and i got it in Febuary of 2007. Plus if it did i really dont care, i have a lifetime powertrain warrenty. It has a Smooth, comfertable ride, with percise handling, the turning is like turning a little BMW, the breaking is jaw dropping smooth, and has really good pickup for a full size SUV. if you dont have a heavy foot like me, you will get 17 MPG city miles! 25 HWY! You dont have to belive me. Theres a thing that tells you how much your using in the truck. Thanks GM for opening my eyes from only buying Honda's and Toyotas! I will be purchusing the redesigned Chevy Equionx for my wife. Im never getting rid of my new baby."

"I absolutely love our Suburban. We as a family of six have gone through the mini van thing. My kids are very actively involved in sports so we needed to upgrade to a bigger vehicle. I also got tired of pulling our large pop-up camper behind our grocery getters. The only problem I have found along with other people is that GM has put in an awful lot of poor quality transmission cooling lines. My vehicle was purchased as a used vehicle with 50,000 miles on it and it needs to have those replaced already. Come on GM, step up and make the recall."

"Big family, dog, granma, luggage: theferoe, we needed a big car. In the US we found the "Burb", which fits us perfectly. Great show overhere (although some environmentalists won't settle for the fact that it's a FlexFuel engine and hence greener than most european cars.) The one thing we cannot understand is why GM gives absolutely no support to customers outside the US. Would be very nice if we could get codes in order to make NAV-system work in Europe! If somebody knows the guy to be convinved with GM, please, let me know!"
