"This is a highly reliable vehicle! The actual fuel mileage has been 16/20-22mpg. It is extremely comfortable particularly if you are over 6 feet tall."

"Bought this 2003 model SUV with 28,000 miles on it. Have had too many issues to recommend it. The tail and headlights always go out. The top of the gas tank sending unit leaked gas all over the drive way and when you would drive it in 2008. Chevy first said no to the repair/replacement but then after I had it done sent the recall. Most recently the transmission that they say doesn?t need service until 100,000 miles needed service as in replacement ($2200) @ 100,000 miles. The all-wheel drive system has needed service, and this week the exhaust manifold replaced ($500). This truck is a rust bucket. The only good thing I would say is that it is comfortable and has good power and mileage for the 4.2 motor."

"This is a Great Truck. Very reliable. Awesome in the snow and rain. Rides like a luxery car not a Truck."

"This car was bought new, but probably spent more time at the dealership than in my garage. At 5k miles AC failed, at 6K, dashboard instruments failed, several recalls during it's one year tenure with us. One year was enough, sold it at a loss (they depreciate quickly). Very bad customer service too. No wonder GM is in such a pickle! Bought a Honda Pilot, had ZERO problems in the 6 years I owned it."

"This is a wonderful vehicle! I usually get bored and trade every 4 years. I have had this car since Dec 2002, and here it is May 2010. I love my Trailblazer and am seriously not happy at the thought that I can't replace her because Chevy stopped making them!!"

"Everything about this SUV has exceeded my expectations: lots of power (270 hp, more than you would think for an inline 6), great tow capacity, lots of room, only 1 mechanical problem in 50k miles (ball joints), and really good gas mileage for a vehicle this size (28 mpg highway...I have the 2 wheel drive version). The only real complaints I have are minor: the voltage regulator does a poor job and the lights tend to dim at random, and the vehicle is a little noisey on bumpy roads."

"I love my trailblazer. I purchased it new in 2003. I have had some minor electrical problems like the taillights going out repeatedly and the car shocks you when you get out, but I still love it and won't part with it until it dies. I have almost a 100,000 miles on it and have not had to do one major repair yet."

"I purchased the 2003 Trailblazer brand new in January. In July the air conditioner broke. The following year the air conditioner broke again, the following year the rear end of the truck creeks, yet no chevy mechanic can figure out why, the lumbar pillow stopped working, and the tail light are always going out. I believe when you buy a brand new car, there should not be one problem for at least 5 years. Those I know who have this SUV say the same thing. I feel like I wasted my money on this truck. Especially since I had it maintenced every 3-6 months..."
