"Traded in an older hybrid for twice the room, looks, performance, and triple the efficiency-- all for the same monthly lease costs when you factor in gas. Also have an Audi S5 to make up for car insecurities that the other hybrid created, but I end up exclusively only driving the Volt around since it meets all the needs anyone would want in a car plus more. It's got push to start, electronic e brake, comfy seats, a modern interior, a sport mode that takes advantage of instant torque, and good looks for a plug in hybrid. Also can carpool the volt in SoCal, saving you time and keeping you out of trouble from road rage."

"We bought a Chevy Volt 2013 two weeks ago. We love it. There are times that we have gotten 200 miles to the gallon. My only concern is there are alot of electronic gadgets in the car. You can heat up your car from your cell phone so it will be warm before you get into it. The car has alot of electronic perks. And we worry about those. That is why we got the extended warranty. We love it for the 200 miles a gallon even though it's variable. We are glad to not be as dependent on gasoline prices. Another draw back is you could either get the car stripped or with all the extras on it. There was no in between. The dealerships all get only two cars a month to sell. We do get alot of perks from the dealership such as free car washes and head to toe coverage for 5 years. We got OnStar for 3 years and XM for 3 months. That is amazing. The other day, the heater did not work in the morning. We got the heat back about a half hour later. So, this is a mixed review. For the most part, we love it."

"We bought the car to buy less oil and save money. We have gone 1100 miles and still have 3 of the 9 gallons of gas the dealer put it when new. Our daily commute is 15 miles so all electric. A full charge (30-40 miles) cost is $0.62. Even our out town trips have been good. Cannot tell when gas engine comes on most of the time unless you watch the display."

"Good looking. Extremely economical, well built, fit and finish is fantastic, can't be beat if used as designed. Short commuter car with hardly any consumption of gas. When used on long trips, economy goes way down, but is still better than most other cars. Range of economy is infinity miles per gal to around 40 for long trips. I have no complaints about the 40 mpg, but the short trip mpg is fantastic. When driven less than 40 miles between charges, the sky is the limit. 110v charging is too slow. 10-12 hrs. I installed a 240v charger. Much better. 3.5-4 hrs for full charge."

"My on bought this car because he needed to save money on gas and move into the future with style. He has been surprised that the battery power exceeded the dealership claims. Note: He drives it carefully most of the time guided by the ECO console that constantly gives feedback on the inefficiency of the car in regard to battery power consumption. When it comes to fun, the S mode makes the car like and electric rocket. He constantly praises the car and talks about how much fun it is to drive. I personally have driven it over 40 miles on a three quarter charge. I'm not a dealer or a salesman, just a fan of the electric car and I can't believe what a great car the Volt is. The car can completely charge in 8 hours off of 110 current and a quick charger is available for only 500.00. What a great car!"

"I'm blown away at all the nasty press on this car. I looked at the facts. 40 miles per charge, gas engine to extend when needed, comfortable to drive, and safe. The volt hits the mark on all of these period. My wife, who is a teacher, drives 35 miles a day, and so far we have not put a drop of gas in the tank. Prius owners either give me a thumbs up or just envy the car when they see it, which makes me laugh nearly every time. So in summary, we spend a $1.25 in energy as opposed to $7.5 in gas each day. Do yourself a favor and test drive this car. It's awesome. Bravo GM."

"I've got 4,200 miles on this car now and here is my feedback. I would buy the car againn but I wish it had an analog display. Touch buttons that had some sort of tactile feedback. I wish I had a budget screen telling me based on remaining charge when I should head for home if I did not want to burn any gas...see fords budget. Lose the keyless entry. Hump in roof in way of RV mirror. Seats are good. Think about a two seater. AC is good. car is quiet as a Bentley. Vents are poorly placed. Give me an analog display. For a car I paid $48,000 for, the materials could have been a whole lot better. Leaf display one is stupid. I should have been able to connect to the car via wifi. Blue tooth works ok."
