Consumer Reviews
"This is the first Chrysler I've ever owned. I bought it used and it is FABULOUS. It has the space I need for my 2 white sheperds. It handles well on the road, even in the rain. Comfortable for long highway driving. Knobs/and buttons close and easy to reach. I have the Signature Series and it has everything but the kitchen sink - I'm discovery new and fantastic options everyday. I'm still reading the owners manual, so I'm sure I'll find more toys to gush over. Did I say I Love this car?"

"I love my pacifica, before this I had 2 chrysler concordes and wanted a chrysler because they ride so smooth and even though this is a SUV/wagon it does ride smooth!! Its very roomy inside and depending on which one you get it has a lot of bells and whistles. I cant comment on reliability yet as I have only owned it for 3 weeks."

"Recently purchased a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. One of the main reasons for the purchase was for the middle row buckets that are very comfortable and fully recline. After owning several minivans this was the only vehicle that I found with that feature. ( Had to have this feature for the wife , when we travel she loves to take a nap ) Also very impressed with the performance, handling and design of the vehicle. The new 4.0 liter engine is very strong. Can not say one negative thing about the Pacifia. Very happy with the purchase."

"OK. So we were looking to move from the family van to something more stylish now that our kids are teenagers. We decided on the Pacifica for its great looks, assumed Chrysler reliability and low cost compared to comparable vehicles. Wow - what a mistake. Don't get me wrong, the car is stylish and has a smoooooth ride with great acceleration. (Now, for the big but...) BUT apparently the Pacifica's are notorious for electronics issues. (Gee, wish we would have research that BEFORE we purchased) In the 2 months we've had the car we've gone out to an inexplicably dead battery numerous times, replaced 3 power seat modules (because the Chrysler dealer couldn't properly diagnose which one was actually bad), pressed on the accelerator and received no response, and had the car stop running while driving down the road (that was a thrill). From what we've researched (unfortunately POST-purchase) some Pacifica's operate without a problem and some seem doomed to electronics and computer issues that are often times unable to be reproduced so that they might be fixed. Oh, and just for fun, many times when you get out of the car and shut the drivers door, you get a nice static shock. Supposedly Chrysler has some ground wire fixes for this so that the static shock does not short out any computer components. Can't wait to see how much that costs!"

"I purchased my pacifica about two months ago. I was in the market for a mid size SUV (not a mini van fan) since we have three kids now. Over all this cross over is pretty nice. I have the touring package which seats six comfortably (you probably can cram another person back there for 7) . I like the clean lines, low profile, has great pickup performance and is a very stylish car. It looks like a SUV but rides like a luxury car. The leather interior is nice with kids (can clean easily). This car is great for a small people due to the head room. The cons are that if you have to put two car seats in the middle, the access to the back is limited. The third person or child has to climb over the middle console to get into there seat. Also the gas mileage on this car is awful. defintely not a car for city driving. When you have the third row seat active the cargo compartment is very small. Bottom line if you are looking for a used SUV with six passanger seating, great upgrades for under 15k this car would be the best. If not go newer and buy the new dodge journey model. Chrylser stopped making the pacifica in 2008."

"I needed a vehicle with All Wheel Drive and a third row. This Pacifica was appealing because it was a Limited edition and 90% of the Pacificas out there are the Touring model. This has body colored molding without that gray lower body panel. I wanted the DVD, NAV and heated second row seats. I love the car as it holds all my kids and handles well. I bought it as a Certified pre-owned and opted for the 100K extended warranty as it is an 07 and I will likely put some mileage on it. The only complaints I have are the engine noise (my last SUV was a Buick Enclave that was more refined) and the poor gas mileage. As it is built on the same platform as the MB R-Class, if somebady wants to spend 10-15K more, they have that option. But for my money, this was a great buy and a super bang for the buck!"

"We bought this car after renting one several years ago. My husband remembered it as being one of the most comfortable cars he had ever been in. Our Pacifica replaced our Hyundai Sonata that we enjoyed for 5 years until our now teenagers outgrew it. I like the higher driving position of the Pacifica and its huge cargo are with both middle and back seats down. We are getting around 21 mpg with mostly country driving. But I must agree with the reviews in that the car does not accelerate well. It struggles when you head up one of our many hills, but does fine at cruising speed. I was spoiled with our V6 Sonata which had power to spare. Also, rear visibility is terrible. I wouldn't recommend this car to families with small children; so difficult to see behind the car. And lastly on the minus side is the terrible radio reception. We've only had the car for 3 months so I can't report on reliability yet, but I do see many of them on the road. So all in all we're satisfied."

"My wife and I looked around and test drove many different kinds of "cross-over"/SUV style cars. We really were looking for a 2nd row that could recline more than a couple of inches. We like to take trips in the car and our girls like to take a nap from time to time on the longer trips. This was the only vehicle other than a mini-van (which we did not want anymore) that we found that could do that. The ride is great. There is a wind pressure noise when you open the sun roof 100%, that is not necessary to enjoy the option, but if you want it open all the way you just crack one of the other windows and it goes away. Initially I was concerned but not anymore. A class III hitch is made for it and cost me about $240 installed. But you better figure on a extention to raise the receiver higher. I put one of those hitch carriers on and scraped the driveway without it. All in all it's a great vehicle and I love it, now that I have it set up the way I want it....oh, and the 19" tires will run you about $800 for four new ones so be prepared. Love my buy. Love my Pacifica!"
