Terrible to own, terrible to drive.
This car is unreliable and uncomfortable to drive. Bought the car a year ago and still cannot drive it! It has a tranny problem for which Chrysler Canada had provided dealer recall.

Slow but comftable.
Good reliable car, it is not a speed deamon but it is good for comftable for long distance trips. I had only one mechanical issue with transmission bearings. To the guy who wrote the last review, you have bad baterry terminals, I had the same issue car was discharging fast charging slow, hard to jumpstart. Alternator ok, no additional current drow in the car, baterry was changed. those batery terminals cost nothing do that and you will get rid of the problem.

I adored this car until the day after I bought it
The most excited I've been in 15 years was in October 2021. I got my license back & bought a 2007 Sebring. Only had 110,000 miles & I fell head over heels in love. I felt fancy. The next morning I drove to the gas station, still reeling from my fanciness I filled it up with premium gas. Went back inside & bought some scratches tickets, cause hello... I'm lucky! Got back in the car, turned the key... nothing. Not even a tick. $65 in fancy gas and nothing. Got jumped, drove to Advance, found out my battery is in my wheel, drove to NAPA, then to the car place. Paid $165 for a new battery... in October. Come December I have lightning bolts and check engine lights on more than they're not. Come February I literally have to charge my car before I can start it. I don't dare turn it off when i go somewhere. It's been in the shop 5 times and no one can find the problem. I have a sebring who thinks it's an electric car. I don't drive to work, or the grocery store because there's a good chance it won't start back up. I absolutely loved this car. I was so proud of myself. Between October and December I put new rims and a system in it. I seriously put 15 years of love into this car. And it's failed me. I'm scared to go anywhere. We've looked online and tried all the things other people have done to remedy this issue. I guess mine has other issues, but nobody can figure it out. Alternator is fine. Battery was brand new. Everything is new or working properly.... except it doesn't want to start.

Least reliable car I have ever owned
The 2007 Chrysler Sebring is a nicely styled and overall comfortable car, but mechanically the most unreliable I have ever owned. At about 30000 miles the front axle broke without warning. I was driving down the lane in front of our house at about 10 miles an hour when the accident happened. At higher speed it would have been a disaster. Because the car was out of warranty, Chrysler refused to help with the $2,000.00 repair. Other things have gone wrong since then to the point that I find the vehicle too unreliable to drive any distance. But because I am now retired I find the vehicle still useful for occasional use.

Worst Decision
Owned this car for 7 years after it being owned by 1 person with a clean CARFAX. Bought it used at a little over 100k. Spent 2,000$ first round of repairs which included all brakes and tires. Six months later, it’s back in the shop and replaced the alternator and battery. Another six months later, fumes were coming through air vents, no joke took 5000$ to fix. Next year, had to replace battery and alternator AGAIN. Year later, failed an emissions test and took 300$ for them to fix. Next year, check engine light comes on and it costs 400$ just for the part that needed to be replaced. Also had to replace the gas topper twice because of suction issues. I spent more money fixing this car than I did buying it over those years.

The greatest car that I've ever owned.
I have never thought to buy and drive a Chrysler, especially that I am from Europe and I didn't trust so much in the American cars. I had two cars before (two times Ford Mondeo) but when I found out and seen this Chrysler Sebring on the internet I falled in love with it right away. I got a 2007 Chrysler Sebring 2.0 CRD, Diesel at 140hp. It was a new and good experience. Chrysler Sebring is the most beautiful and lovely car I have ever owned. It is more than comfortable, too much space inside and a big trunk. It it the King of the roads in my little town! If there's something that I do not like is too much plastic inside and cheap things... But I don't care too much about it. I like the car and I would buy it again and again..

I Cried When She Was Totalled - but I walked away
This was the greatest car I've ever owned. Chrysler hit it out of the park with this one - great styling, an incredibly snappy aluminum engine with outrageously great gas mileage, and an interior styling that was beyond classy. LOVED this car - ran like a dream, great breaking with no shaking or ABS malfunctioning, and the sportiest sedan I've ever seen. Yes, I wept when the car was totaled - but the speed I was traveling when that happened was north of 65, the car spun around after sliding sideways for over 100 yards, and two tires burst before the car slammed into a guard rail and stopped; and I was fine.

Nothing but problems
Atleast once a month or 2 something important on this car I had to get fixed. I purchased mine with 62k and not even a full 2 years with the car and first my transmission would be stuck in 1st gear. Right behind that problem comes another one, the engine seized up while I was on the highway and completely went up in smoke while I was driving to work... Long story short, the repairs were almost 3x as much as the xxxx car is worth.
