My transaction was primarily internet based. I found a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan listed on Cars.com at lunch time at work on Thursday March 6, 2014. I contacted Florence Toyota at that time, via the contact "make offer" tools available at the Florence Toyota website. Within an hour Jay Belangia contacted me via email requesting more information on my trade vehicle. I provided this information, again via email, at 1:09pm, to Jay. At 2:29pm Jay contacted me again via email, accepting the terms of my offer. I responded via email confirming acceptance at 4:13pm and contacted Jay via telephone at that time as well. Jay took my deposit via credit card over the phone, and the van was mine. On Friday March 7, 2014 I made the trip from Charlotte, NC to pick up and pay for my van in full. Jay Belangia and Florence Toyota by far exceeded my expectations and my previous experience in purchasing a vehicle. Essentially, but for the details, we were done in less than 2 hours, and I was still able to get a bunch of stuff done at work. In my opinion, this is how technology is supposed to work for us. Also note worthy here, is the fact that I had been hunting a van of this type since November 2013. I had visited multiple dealers, driven multiple vans in the greater Charlotte area. The terms of my transaction offered to Florence Toyota were no different than the terms I communicated to dealerships in my area, and were accepted quickly and without reservation (only that my trade matched my description - which it did). I can say that Florence Toyota and Jay Belangia will be first on my list for my next vehicle purchase. My (4) star rating here would have been 5, had my paperwork been accomplished more quickly. I had to wait a bit longer than I felt necessary to get this wrapped up, but outside of that pretty much a perfect transaction. Absolutely the way to do business.
