My daughter was searching for months for a specific make and model of car, and everything she found was way out of our price range. She came across a listing on Cars.com for USA Auto Center for the very type of car she was seeking at a really good price, one that was actually within our price range. I stopped by to see the car and met Tony Mian, who took the time to listen to our needs and to understand how he could be helpful to us. The car my daughter had seen was under deposit by the time we got there, and to Tony's credit he was not willing to negotiate over the car even though the deposit was small and the deal had not been completed. He promised to keep his eyes open for a similar vehicle and to keep us posted if he found anything. Not a week later he put up another vehicle for sale that fit our description but that was a bit out of our price range. I visited with him again and told him what I could afford, which was less than his listing for a very popular and easy to sell vehicle. He agreed to sell it to me at that price, took a modest deposit, and then fended off dozens of emails from other potential customers offering more than he was asking because he had made a commitment to me. I told him I needed to finance a portion of the cost and that my credit union had a really low rate, so asked if he could wait to complete the sale until I finished the financing paper work. On the spot he connected me to a very reputable finance company with which he does a lot of business, and because of his good relationship with this company (as well as my very good credit rating :-) ), the company agreed that day to offer me a loan at a lower rate, even though the amount I needed to borrow was less than they normally considered worthwhile. They did this because of their relationship with Tony and because he went to bat for me. Every single element of the sale has now proceeded flawlessly, and we picked up the car last week. Tony never pressured me over another vehicle, didn't haggle with me on the price, didn't load up any extras that I had to pay for at the last minute, when I wouldn't have been able to back out. After I put the deposit down he replaced a tire that didn't match the other three on the car with a brand new matching tire, at his own cost, and took the car to the local dealership for a full workup and had everything repaired that they recommended, even if they didn't say it was urgent (over $600 in repairs, all at no cost to me). He went over the Car Fax report with me line by line and provided a copy free of charge. After the sale but before pickup he located and programmed a key fob for me (when he purchased the car he only got the key, no fob with lock and unlock, etc.), and completed some minor repairs to internal items that I pointed out (this is a 2008 vehicle, so it had some wear and tear). Overall this was an amazing experience. I can't say I ever enjoy shopping for a used car, but Tony is a gem and you can trust everything about him. When is the last time you heard that about a used car salesman? I will be back to him to buy a used Nissan Leaf (which he pointed out to me, since he is one of the top Leaf sellers in the area) as soon as I can afford it!
