Arthur the general manager goes above and beyond to help his customers get the vehicle they want. He he is not pushy at all he is very pleasant to deal with. Great job keep it up. Gen-x wants all our our customers to be satisfied and we go out of our way to do so. RE: carfax we do not sell any cars with major carfax problems such as rebuilt title, flood or frame damage. Some cars can be in a minor accident and have no damage but now have a accident report on the carfax. The car tells the story, that is why we inspect all of our vehicles for major damage. 98% of our vehicles are accident free but the other 2% have passes inspection. Carfax is starting to categorize the accident a little better to let the consumer know it was only a minor accident. This is only after dealers advised them they are confusing the consumer on the condition of some vehicles.It is always a good idea to get a third party inspection on a vehicle with and accident history. We will always be willing to exchange any vehicle purchased if our customers are not 100% satisfied. We are always striving to improve. We want customer to be educated in the buying process. Being a woman with less than prefect credit, shopping for a used car was a frightening experience...until I went to Gen-X. The staff was honest and open with me right from the start.The cars on the lot were exactly as advertised,and were in beautiful condition.The guys were professional,patient,and dedicated to getting me into a car.They worked very hard to finance my vehicle,and of the 6 dealers I visited,Gen-X was the only place that could find a deal that worked for me! If you are in the market for a new pre owned luxury vehicle, I highly recommend Gen-X motors on N. Wickham Road. I've continued to receive top notch service long after purchasing my car. Stop in and talk to Arthur or Rich you won't regret it. The complimentary car washes are the icing on the cake. This was my first time purchasing a car alone and the experience was stress free and enjoyable.

What ever you do Stay Away!

This dealership was a disaster from the start... The mechanic wandering around the lot tried to pass off a plain Jane 3-series BMW for a much much higher end M-series. The car was clearly a regular model and had a very fake looking letter M on the back. The store manager also tried to pass off a standard C-class Mercedes as an incredibly expensive AMG-class simply because it had AMG wheels and a fancy navigation system. After ignoring these first two red flags I found a car I liked and we began the buying process. When discussing prices of my trade in the manager Immediately started to discredit Kelly Blue Book in a rather insulting manner and jumped on his NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) website showing about 15% lower values. Can you imagine why he preferred his website over KBB? Following a very unforgiving negotiation process this manager claimed no other dealer in America would be willing to turn the screen and show you the numbers laid out on their software. Anyone who's bought a car knows every dealer is happy to show a buyer the numbers on screen. Despite this I really liked the car and said fine let's get approval for a loan. After showing me on screen that my credit would get me around 3.9% and the price was where I wanted it, I return to see the cost went up about $100/mo because the APR went up to 10.9%. This was obviously unacceptable but what really iced the cake is that not one sheet of paper to back their claims of my credit was produced. When offering a cash deal to avoid the financing and APR issue the manager actually offered me less for my vehicle! The financial "guru" over there then began to tell me how they make more money when customers go through their financing as opposed to a cash deal. Gee wonder why. Not that it had anything to do with buying a car but to attest to the professionalism at GenX the manager nearly got into a fight with one of the shop workers while we were in the middle of negotiations and fired him, why? I do not know. Walked away with a very very sour taste for used car dealers. Some stereotypes exist for a reason. So again - 1. Multiple people lied to my face and tried to pass off base level cars as vastly more expensive and higher end models. 2. Negotiating prices was worse than pulling teeth as the manager continued to lie and try to make me feel bad for him to accept a higher price. 3. Bait and switch tactics involved with financing 4. They certainly lied to me about my credit score and APR rates without providing any proof seeing as I found outside financing for less than half their rates. 5. Discredited the widely accepted standards of KBB.com for the NADA.com site 6. Highly Unprofessional STAY AWAY!!!

At Gen-x we try to exceed expectations but we are not always perfect. However re this complaint i"m not sure we are at fault. The BMW that he said was a base car is far from it. This 328 had a M sport package that has M logos on the upgraded wheels, M logos on the door seals , M logo on the sport steering wheel, it also has M bumpers on the front and rear of car. The M is BMW's racing division in case anyone doesn't know. We have had hundreds of 328 BMW's but this is the first with the M-sport package we have had. It is a rare car and that's why it had the attention of one of our technicians to want to tell the customer how cool this car was. Re the C300. This is also not a base car, this cars has a AMG sport package that comes with AMG sport wheels and suspension. it also has multimedia navigation system that only comes in 1 out of 50 or so of these cars. so it's rare also. I understand most customers don't know these options and thats why we get exited to tell the customer about them. Now about the financing problem, it's quite simple. The customer siad he had perfect credit so he was quoted a rate for A+ credit but when we pulled his credit the score it was not in line with A+ credit, so his rate went up. We do not set the interest rates the banks do. We don't get the final rate until we here back from the bank.Re the trade value adjustment. This customer did not allow us to look at his trade in until the next day and we heard some engine noise coming from the motor so we had it inspected and determine the engine had some major problems so the trade value went down. If anyone was trying to pull a fast one it was this customer. We want every customer to be satisfied and encourage any feed back to help us improve our business. Raoul Cleveland
