Devil is in the details...nothing has changed.

Bought a Tahoe. Sales assoc was great, smiles all around, clearly a dealership-wide effort to create a pleasant environment. After all that effort however, nothing has changed when you look at the details. Tried to sell me windshield protection when it's mandatory coverage for car insurance in the state of South Carolina. Caught the addition of another protection plan on the contract that I explicitly stated I did not want. Financed half of the truck...my wife and I both had 800+ credit scores...they tried to push a +4% interest rate when the benchmark is 1.9%. Promised 2-year, 24,000 mile service plan and found out this morning (2 months later) that it doesn't exist on my vehicle...thanks guys. I know...buyer beware...but come on. Happy and courteous is nice but I'd much rather have trust.

I sent out emails for a certain car and this dealer was first to respond. Several of the other dealerships never responded. Although they had quick service, their price was much higher and I purchased from another dealership

2006 Cadillac Escalade EXT

I made an offer on this vehicle and was told that the price listed would be the total price and would include the processing fee. When another rep. got involved, I believe his name is "Mark", he informed me that he would have to clear the deal with the sales manager. When he called back he stated that price would be higher than the listed price in Cars.com. I asked him why they changed the price, and he stated that they had made a mistake. Most all busnesses will honor a listed price even if they have made a mistake in order to preserve their integrilty and good will. When I learned this, I said I would not play that game, and I would pass on the deal. I would not be buying anything from this dealer again,it seems they change the rules as they go. Richard King

The extra mile. what it means to a customer

I came to dealership three different times. I spoke to a salesman by the name of Jamie. If you want to have a true and fun experience, see him. I had a low score based on divorce and other issues. I needed a vehicle, limited funds and limited credit. It was very hard for me. He called me at 11pm to let me know him and his manager, Dee ,or stayed after work three hours, to help me. He truly was a blessing. I was really in a bad wa He went the xtra mile and did not have too. I am so grateful,and appreciate him and managers services I have recommended him to everyone at church and anyone looking for 100% awesome salesman. He truly is a great person and salesman. Thank you Jamie and Dee at Capitol Chevrolet for changing everything for me actually  when I was really giving up. Just . wanted to say thank you. I wish all the best for you Jamie

Purchase used car and then need $2,200 of repairs

Repair engine light came on within 100 miles of when I drove off the lot. Took it in and needs a new Cadillac converter, serpentine belt and a few other things. Notified dealership of issues and said bring the car in and they will repair at "Cost". Waiting to see how this works out, if they repair at cost then that is probably all they can do, if they do not then I would rate their service, character and response as very shady and "Used Car Dealer" like. I purchased this car from them because they were a dealership and not an individual. They do inspections on these cars and know what is wrong with them. They need to price the cars right and "Disclose" all issues of an As Is sell. An As Is sell with car issues that they are aware of causes great concern for me and I would assume other potential customers. If they fix the car as promised at "Cost" then at least they are trying to do what is right. If they do not, they knew and ""Turned OFF' the check engine light knowing the eventual purchaser was going to get their lemon. That would be unacceptable.
