No Spare Key, No mats

Back in February I Purchased a car from this dealership. I was suppose to receive two keys with the car but I never did. I spoke to the sale person telling him that I will come back on the weekend to get the car cleaned and I would like to get the key then, he agreed and said that he will do his best in getting me that second key. When I went back low and behold there was still no second key. I have been going back and forth with this dealership trying to get this second key. I have spoken to the manager who promised to get me a second Key at their expense and when I went back to set up the appointment to get the key programmed to the car the supervisor informed me that they are not going to cut the key. Their excuse for me not receiving a second key was we don't give two keys with used cars. This is horrible customer service, I will never recommend anyone to buy their car here. Not to mention that the car was not cleaned properly and it did not come with any mats either. I will never purchased another car from them ever again.

Poor Internet/Customer Service

Poor internet service. Contacted King Hyundai and identified vehicle by VIN number that I wished to purchase. Internet manager, Robert Lazar, was to contact me within 24 hrs which did not occur. Was contacted by a sales person, Dale .., who did not know which vehicle I was interested in purchasing. Requested Dale find and examine the vehicle so we could discuss condition which he did and he found a small dent. Dale stated he would contact me within 24 hrs with a date in which the repair would be completed so that we could arrange pickup. Dale did not contact as promised so I contacted him the following morning. He apologized for not calling and stated that he had sent an email (no email was ever received). He stated the vehicle would be repaired on Tuesday and we discussed meeting Weds/Thurs to pick up the vehicle and turn in my trade-in. Hours later Dale left voicemail that the vehicle was sold and offered to help me buy a car in the future. Voice messages for Dale, Robert Lazar and Ron Schey, GM, have not been returned. 5 days after the "sale", the vehicle remains displayed on the dealer and national websites with one website being updated with dealer pictures after the sale. BTW, the dealer pictures fail to display the dent that Dale found.

A few months back I took my son and his girlfriend to this dealership because she was interested in buying an Elantra. This is where I bought my Santa Fe. Upon arriving at the dealership and being greeted I told the salesman that we would like to drive an elantra. He responded that I could go down the block and drive one. Speechless we left the dealership. Next day we went "down the block" and bought a new Elantra. Reminded me of a pretty women moment. Went back to the dealership to let the manager know and when I told him he simply stared at me and said absolutely nothing - not even an "I'm sorry. Although I may buy another Hyundai vehicle in the near future you can be rest assured that it will not be with this dealership - I'll be going down the block

No spare tire

Only after purchase was i informed that the Elantra Limited i bought does not come with a spare tire/donut. Driving without a spare tire/donut is simply crazy. The tire mobility kit provided with the car is useless in a blow-out or other major tire failure. I called and e-mailed Hyundai Motor America to complain about not being informed of this fact. I demanded that King Hyundai provide me with a spare tire kit at no cost or at least at cost. The response was, take it up with the dealership. King Hyundai would not budge. King wanted $350 for a spare tie kit. I got it for $250 tax included. Omitting the fact that a spare tire is not included was shocking and bewildering to me and for sure, the vast majority of the customers King Hyundai encounters and in my opinion, unethical. The behavior of King Hyundai and Hyundai Motor America has been a bitter experience. To the prospective Hyundai buyer i say, STAY AWAY!

Dear Mr. Nieves, I am very sorry that you were not informed that your model vehicle does not come with a spear tire kit and instead a tire mobility kit. Hyundai does not include the spear tire kit in the Elantra models to provide more space in the vehicles for the customers convenience and it also gives the car better gas mileage. As a show of good faith, we offered to sell the spare tire kit to you at our cost. We strive to keep our customers happy and we regret not explaining this fact to you at the time of purchase.
