Lesson

Bought Camaro, oil light came on then engine bells & light came on engine severely overheating turn off engine Now! Did not feel comfortable driving this car off the lot. These peeps were very uncooperative, General Manager kept putting me off. I have driven a new Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, Cadillac, Sonata, off the dealerships lots a very happy customer. But when the Camaro was burning & fumes were hurting my throat, I knew This was Not the car for me! Very poor Communications with this crew!!!!! Oh no, i will never shop at Smicklas, your 4 star auto group nor ever send anyone their way. I understand why General Motors had to be bailed out.

I sent an email with an offer on a vehicle that was reasonable for the type and pricing I had seen online and on car lots. I didn't get a reply but did receive their ads to purchase new vehicles. I don't liver near their facility so I couldn't just drop by and look nor talk to someone about it. I gave up on that vehicle.

Service Center Dropped the Ball

The check engine light came on in my 2010 Terrain and I took it Smicklas to have it serviced. I told them about the light and explained that my vehicle would kind of stagnate when I'd press on the gas. I was told it was my fuel pump and that the repair was covered by warranty. The fuel pump was replaced but the problem continued and the check engine light came back on. I called the service center and was told I needed to schedule and appointment. I scheduled the appointment for 9:30 in the morning. They had my vehicle all day long and did not look at it. I called and was transferred several times and hung up on before I was finally told they didn't get to look at it. I'm not sure what the purpose of the appointment was. I was asked to schedule ANOTHER appointment. Unfortunately I never made it to that appointment. The morning of, my Terrain completely stopped on the highway in the middle of rush hour traffic. It was pouring rain outside. As you can imagine the situation resulted in a wreck and my vehicle totalled. So NO I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from Smicklas Chevrolet or take it to be serviced there. This company was extremely negligent in their duty to repair my vehicle and it is this reason that resulted in my totaled vehicle.

Great Service

I enjoyed my experience at Smicklas and loved the hard work and attention that took place to receive a great deal. I only wished I would have gotten more "bells & whistles" with my new vehicle as far as navigation and some other things. Overall, my experience was a 10 and I'm glad I chose Smicklas.

Got the exact new car I wanted at Smicklas!
