Ford Explorer purchase & service

Our recent purchase experience was excellent. Marc Jones was the Sales Representative who assisted us. He is honest, thorough and very competent - a real professional. He is extremely knowledgeable about Ford vehicles and patient in dealing with his customers. This is our third Explorer and all of them are serviced at Lombard Ford. Larry Wright, our Service Representative, knows his cars inside and out. He is not only very experienced and skilled at diagnosing vehicle issues; but is honest, competent and thorough. In short, buy & service your Ford at Lombard.

2016 Explorer Purchased at Lombard Ford

Our experience with Lombard Ford has always been a pleasure. The staff is always courteous and very knowledgeable. My family has a long relationship with Lombard Ford from the sales department to the service department and everyone has always been very professional. I would just like to commend Mr. Lombard for his care about their customers and maintaining such a high standard. Mr. Lombard understands and follows Henry Ford?s philosophy of ?It is not the employer who pays the wages. Employers only handle the money. It is the customer who pays the wages.?

Great car buying experience!

We just bought a 2016 Ford Fusion from Lombard Ford. We are very happy with our new car. Mark Jones was a great salesperson to deal with! He answered all our initial inquiry and subsequent questions promptly, which made the process much less stressful. The exact car we wanted was in stock and we got a great deal. It took less than a week from our first inquiry by email to driving the car home. We bought from other local dealerships in the past, and our experience at this dealership was much better!

Great people!

After extensive research online, we drove to Lombard Ford in CT from NY (a two hour drive) because they had two cars (Ford Taurus Limiteds) that we thought we might like. We did not know anything about Lombard but we are so happy that we made the trip. Steve Weir was our sales person and Bob Lombard, the owner, was there also and very present and helpful. Steve was not pushy as some sales people can be but showed us the car and explained all the features very clearly. He answered all our questions and concerns. We negotiated the deal and returned 3 days later to pick up the car and go through the stack of paperwork NY requires! Mike helped us with all that and explained everything clearly. We would definitely return to Lombard to purchase our next vehicle. Thanks guys for your help (and the donut!).

Great Dealership

Being recently retired from the State of Connecticut, I have had time to shop around to find a dealership to purchase a vehicle. I found a Great one in Lombard Ford. From the beginning until the final paperwork was signed, I was treated in the most friendly, courteous, and professional manner. There was no high pressure from any one at the dealership at any time, to purchase anything. But when you decided on a vehicle, they went out of their way to make a car buying experience a very good one. This stated with Salesman Mark Jones and included everyone up to the Business Owner Rob Lombard. I can not say enough about this dealership. But if you are looking to purchase a vehicle, with out going through the high pressure sales pitches. I would recommend that you travel the distance that it takes to go to Lombard Ford. It is worth the Travel.

Love Lombard Ford!

Great dealer, awesome staff. Sales rep Steven Weir struck a perfect balance between being hands-off and being helpful. I was perfectly comfortable, spotting the car I wanted. Steven's a natural. Finance manager, Michael Mans, and I talked like a couple of old friends, too. Also remarkable, Lombard Ford went beyond expectations AFTER the deal was made. I drove from Newington to find the exact Ford and the right dealer, and I'd do it again!
