Internet dealer sent e-mail on weekend that he would get back to me on Monday, never heard from them again, i was inquiring about a used car they had on cars.com, I did not visit dealership.

Wayne, I have investigated the process of response to your inquiry and found out that our response was by phone to the number you had listed on the lead request. The number we left the message at was 580-xxx-9892. I didn't put the full number in since this is read by many people. I am assuming you are wayne interested in the 2003 Thunderbird because the above review had the name mis-spelled. Worth the drive

I live in the Southern Texas Panhandle. Because of the distance to the Wheeler dealership, I based my decision to buy a pickup by conversations on the phone. When a pickup of interest was described to me, I took the chance and drove to Hinton. What I found was the exact pickup that was described. The pickup was priced at a value that beat all the dealers within the radius I was searching. It was worth the drive to Hinton to buy a great pickup at a great price. Personnel was very curious and professional. In my personal experience, I highly recommend this dealership.

Run from this service department

I broke down near Wheeler Chevrolet. They were kind and took good care of me until the service manager went on vacation the next day. They called me and asked me how much they quoted for the job. When I told them $445 they said it is now $495. I told them I understood and that it probably took a little more time than first quoted. Then I was told very unprofessionally "well we probably need to add more to this bill". WHAT? I wait for David to come back from vacation and see what in the world is going on. When I call David he says my new total is $615! Of course I am upset and tell him that I feel like they are padding the bill. David returned very rudely and when I told him I am shocked at the way he is speaking to me he says. "well you started it". Do yourself a favor and pay to tow your vehicle to someone you can trust.

We apoligize for any confusion on our part regarding pricing. As I discussed with you we had two different opinions on the estimate at the time and becsuse the first service writer was on vacation they could not be consulted. Our goal with each customer is to bring a pleasant experience to a situation that most people don't like, such as repairing a vehicle. I hope you will give us an opportuntiy in the future to perform any service needs you may have and will show you a procedural change we have made since this happened to you. We strive to eleviate any potential problems that may come up by reviewing customer responses, positive or negative.
